5. Beautiful Home And More: I love the Farmhouse On Boone YouTube channel. I admire Lisa for the simple and thoughtful way she lives. I’ve been making sourdough bread. Here’s a very easy recipe for making crackers out of sourdough discard. This classic home is beautiful! Interior Designer Lisa Holt has a must-see video about styles that are big in 2024. Very interesting.

6. Recipe Of The Week: Parmesan Crusted Cabbage Slices are my new favorite, YUM! Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line two sheet pan with parchment paper. Cut a small cabbage into half-moon slices. Mix 4 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 4 TBS olive oil, and 1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning in a bowl. Divide evenly among the sheet pans, making flat half-moon shapes. Put a slice of cabbage on each Parmesan moon. Drizzle a little more oil on top of the cabbage and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Bake for 16-19 minutes until the edges are crisp, flip and bake for another 10 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley and pepitas.

7. Fun And Interesting Facts: How long does the average person sit at a traffic light in their lifetime? How long did it take Leo Tolstoy to write War And Peace?

8. This And That: I have spring fever! Bad! Here are things to inspire you for spring. This account is full of small arrangements Here’s an account that teaches you how to watercolor flowers (I’m a little addicted). This video has good, basic info about feeding winter birds until spring. We saw juncos, bluebirds, cardinals, finches, chickadees, and some kind of woodpecker at our feeders last weekend.

9. Spring Capsule Wardrobe: this spring green-on-green shirt, this flowing block print blue and white dress (LOVE), this black and white dotted dress, love the colorful denim jackets, this pretty marble print 3/4 length sleeve top, and this celery green tunic top with pockets.

10. Get a head start on spring! Here are three easy spring wreaths to make for when you are ready to hang them on your front door: This forsythia wreath, this cherry blossom wreath, and this spring-inspired front door basket wreath.

Answer To #7: The average person sits at a traffic light for two weeks in their lifetime. It took Leo Tolstoy six years to finish War And Peace. Here’s a beautifully done mini-series of the book. It’s one of my favorites.

Happy Wednesday, Friends!

  1. I’d like to try the Parmesan Crusted Cabbage slices. Are the measurements correct? You have 4.5 C cheese and 1.5 C Italian seasoning. Is this right?
