This rice dish is a recipe that has been passed down in my family. I keep all the ingredients on hand so I can make this delicious dish when the mood strike and it strikes often! The rice is partnered with sautéed onions and celery, simmered in chicken stock, and finished with a good sprinkle of fresh parsley.

I could eat these green beans every day! They are that good! And if truth be told, I’m not a natural-born veggie lover!  Most carnivores like me aren’t. When I don’t get cucumbers out of our garden I use English cukes from the grocery store.
