Savory Dutch Baby Pancakes

Have you ever made a Dutch Baby? They are a cross between a pancake, a souffle, and a frittata. They are so beautiful and so delicious.

Dutch Babies are usually sweet like this Pear Dutch Baby, but I found this glorious looking savory one!

I’m making Savory Dutch Baby Pancakes on Saturday morning for Bobby and my little granddaughter Emma Kate who likes to spend Friday night with us!

Thanks, Erica at Buttered Side Up.

Lemon Poppyseed Muffins

Coffee and a muffin is the perfect breakfast in my book. And a lemon muffin is one of my favorites.

These pretty muffins are made with real lemon juice and lemon zest to give them a tangy citrus flavor! And the poppyseed adds a bit of crunch and depth of flavor. Yogurt is added to make this muffin moist! Oh, yum!

The glaze makes these muffins extra tangy and sweet.

Thanks for these beautiful muffins Jaclyn from Crayons And Cravings.

White Country Gravy

I get my LOVE for white gravy from my Daddy! His family was from Missouri and were farmers. So white gravy was a part of their life and Daddy’s life and mine too! My dad and not my Yankee mom (sorry darling mother) made the gravy! And it was so delicious!

Kate says to serve it over Chicken Fried Steak or Pork Chops or Fried Chicken and I could not agree more!

I’m including it in the breakfast roundup because white gravy is the base for Cream Chipped Beef on Toast and Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. And oh, I love both!

White gravy is something every home cook should learn how to make. Thanks so much, Kate from Southern Home And Hospitality for this delicious recipe and the memories it brought back.

EGGS BENEDICT

Eggs Benedict is one of those recipes you eat when you go out for brunch. But honestly, making it at home is really easy!

It’s just a toasted English Muffin, a piece of Canadian Bacon, a poached egg (or soft boiled egg), and Hollandaise sauce. It’s usually the Hollandaise sauce that makes Eggs Benedict a food to eat when you go out. But this recipe makes the yummy buttery sauce in a blender. Super easy!

I can’t wait to make this! Thanks, Jack and Martha from A Family Feast.

Easy Orange Oatmeal Muffins

breakfast recipes- orange oatmeal muffins

Like I said above, I LOVE coffee and a muffin in the morning. But I do feel a bit guilty eating one several times a week.

So I make these breakfast muffins that are infused with real orange juice and orange zest. They also have lots of oatmeal so they are chewy and delicious and not too sweet! If you like a sweeter muffin you can always make and drizzle a glaze over them.

I keep them in the freezer and when I want to have one with coffee I warm them up in the microwave.

And if you are a WW fan, they are only 5 points.

Muffin Pan Mini Quiche

I think quiche is almost the perfect savory breakfast. So I was thrilled to find a mini, crustless version!

Amy serves them for brunch with friends but I’m thinking they would make the best on-the-go breakfast! These mini quiches can be frozen and then warmed up, ready to eat.

This cute breakfast can be customized to include your favorite ingredients.

Thanks, Amy at Chew Out Loud for the delicious recipe!
