I pretty much makeover all my rooms using this technique.

Layering rugs is hot, hot, hot right now. Even if you have wall to wall carpeting you can learn how to top it off with some really spectacular and inexpensive rugs to give your home a designer look.

Some bookshelves, because of their location are much better suited for things other than books you are reading. They work better as a curio for sure. Here are some tips for styling bookshelves and creating a focal point in your room.

I think you decorate much more for Christmas than I do. I just don’t relish putting a lot of things away, even though I love the holiday season. I try and keep it to just the living room and kitchen area.
Do you put everything away immediately after Christmas day? Or do you leave it up until Jan. 1? Just curious what other ladies do:)
