ON THE MENU WEEK OF APRIL 19TH

One of the most lovely things about living in Lancaster Co. is the changing seasons! For now, it’s warming up and spring is showing off everywhere including my kitchen! So here’s a spring-ish menu with some of my favorite recipes!

MONDAY- SOUP DAY

Even though it’s spring we still love soup! And for us soup is an anytime meal.

Monday’s are becoming soup days! We love love love soup, here at StoneGable, and love the leftovers for lunch even more.

Today’s soup is very hearty and very delicious! And it feeds a crowd!

On another fun note, today I’m making sourdough bread. I’ve caught the bread-making bug and want a healthy, natural, homemade bread on hand. I’ve been watching so so many Youtube videos about bread baking!!!! I’ll let you know how it this bread turns out.

TUESDAY

Today’s wonderful air fryer chicken comes from Cheri at Cooks Well With Others. I love chicken coated with Parmesan cheese! So excited to make these fun little chicken tenders!

I would usually serve this main dish with a bit of pasta and some kind of yummy sauce, but I have a carton of Chinese take-out rice in the frig so I’m turning it into a gorgeous sauteed rice my grandmother taught me to make.

WEDNESDAY

I just adore this gorgeous recipe from Suzy at The Mediterranean Dish! I love a fish gently pan fried and then bathed in a luscious sauce!

I may try to air fry these cod pieces and then let them bathe in the sauce.

THURSDAY

Today’s main dish is probably one of the top 10 recipes I have EVER made. Yes, that’s right. This recipe from Bon Appetit is just so so scrumptious!

If you make one thing this week and can get great fresh clams make this recipe! And don’t leave out the breadcrumbs!!!!!!

And then make the Caesar salad! It is the best you will ever eat!!!!!

FRIDAY- FUN DAY!

Don’t you love the sound of today’s main dish? Spinach and ricotta are a match made in heaven! I can’t wait to make this easy recipe from The Taste Of Wonder.

I’ll make a batch of wonderful roasted veggies to eat with dinner and then to nibble on over the weekend!

SATURDAY

I am so excited to make this one pot chicken meal tonight! I adore a great chicken! And I know this will be a StoneGable favorite!

This recipe is glorious peasant food! This is my kind of dinner!

Thank you, The Little Ferraro Kitchen!

SUNDAY- SLOW COOKER AND AIR FRYER DAY

I am addicted to my Air Fryer. This is my second one and when I got the first one I was not convinced! However, my sister convinced me to give air fryers another try. So I got an Instant Pot Air Fryer and I just LOVE it! You can see my air fryer below.

Two of today’s recipes are from Stephanie at The Cozy Cook! I love her foodie site!!!!! And I know you will too!

  1. I clicked on the picture of the Instant Pot below and I don’t see where it is an air fryer. I have an Instant Pot Duo 8 qt. but it doesn’t have the air fryer mode. I would love to have an air fryer. I wonder if Instant Pot has accessories.

  2. We Love sourdough bread -I’ve been using a recipe for oatmeal sourdough bread For years- it is so delicious and easy and it’s the best comfort food right out of the oven! Xo

  3. Yum! These recipes are making my mouth water. Blessings to you.

  4. The soup looks heavenly. Will be putting that in my rotation. My soup of the week is Ina Garten’s Italian Wedding Soup. It’s fantastic.
