What are you having for dinner this week? I have a week’s worth of delicious and so easy recipes. Because it is still difficult for many of us to get meats like chicken, this week’s recipes can be made without it! Let’s get creative and make easy and delicious dinners this week!
Hey friends, I don’t know what you have in your refrigerator, freezer and pantry so I’m trying to find recipes that are very, very easy and hopefully with ingredients you have!
We have lots of rice and pasta here! And they go far! So you will see them a lot on the menu this week!
It’s hard to order groceries when half of the things on my list are out of stock. Hopefully, we will be seeing more food on the shelves this week.
I am so grateful for all the workers that have anything to do with our food chain and pray for them.
God bless all of you this week. Let’s stay strong and positive and see God’s hand in our lives and His gracious blessings all around us while we are self-quarantined!
Now, here’s what’s on the menu this week…
I love a good, flavorful casserole! And I love almost any recipe that has the words “French onion” in them! So this is a must-make recipe here at StoneGable! A big thank you to Holly at Life In The Lofthouse! I can’t wait to make this recipe!
TUESDAY- SOUP DAY
Every week I make at least one pot of soup for dinners and lunches the next day or two. Tonight’s soup from Dash Of Sanity looks gorgeous and so delicious!
Instead of using cream I’ll be using a combination of milk, evaporated milk and plain greek yogurt. This combination tastes so delicious and is creamy like heavy cream in a recipe.
- CREAMY ITALIAN SAUSAGE SOUP
- HOMEMADE SOURDOUGH BREAD
Tonight’s dinner is a tasty one!!! A big thanks fo Lauren at Tastes Better From Scratch! I love her recipes!!!! And I’m a huge fan of Tex-Mex food! Lauren’s recipe calls for hamburger meat. If you don’t have hamburger use chicken or make it with extra refried beans!
I’ll be adding shredded lettuce to the top of my Mexican pizzas! Delicious!
Carrie and Cade are the adorable couple who blog at Oh, Sweet Basil and where tonight’s recipes comes from them!
I love a loaded baked potato but they are just too much for me as a side dish. So, why not eat them as a main dish!!! A big loaded baked potato and a yummy salad is a great, filling meal!
- LOADED BAKED POTATO WITH BROCCOLI BACON AND CHEESE SAUCE
- ARUGULA WITH SHAVED PARMESAN, TOASTED PINENUTS, IN A LEMON VINAIGRETTE
Here’s a pretty way to make lasagna! I think these lasagna inspired roll-ups are just perfect for a weeknight meal and are so company-worthy. A beautiful and delicious recipe from Chelsea at Gal On A Mission!
SATURDAY- BREAKFAST FOR DINNER
Bobby is loving breakfast for dinner when it’s on the menu! Breakfast is his favorite meal. And my favorite breakfast that I only eat a few times a year is sausage gravy and biscuits! So tonight’s menu is a win/win!
A big thank you to The Hungry Bluebird for the great recipe!
I can’t wait to try this gorgeous recipe from Prasanna at Savory Bites Recipes! I’ll be trying my hand at making shrimp fried rice hopefully as good as my favorite local restaurant! I’ll make tonight’s recipe with lots of extra shrimp. Bobby loves shrimp!
SWEET TREAT OF THE WEEK
So far on my weight loss journey, I’ve lost 18 pounds. Slow but sure! And I think that is the best way to go!
Once in a while I really get a hankering for chocolate and peanut butter. So I’ll be making these scrumptious little balls full of peanut butter! They are only 2 blue WW points each!
For years and years, I made homemade chocolate peanut butter eggs for Easter. But this year there will be no one to eat them but Bobby, my mom and me.
So these yummy little balls will be a fabulous substitute! Thanks, Power Recipe.
I hope all of you are eating well and staying safe!
