THE MAGIC OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS TREE

I’ve always wanted a Christmas tree in my bedroom. I’ve dreamed about it. But when a white Christmas tree showed up to spend the holidays with us here at StoneGable the magic began! It far exceeded all of my most wild and sugar plummed visions and sweet Christmas dreams! Here’s a little glimpse of my newly renovated master bedroom and the amazing, magical white Christmas tree that lives there.

A big thank you to Balsam Hill sponsoring this fairytale post. And for the gorgeous tree and ornaments! I’m celebrating the beauty of the Christmas tree along with some very talented bloggers!

A big thank you to my friend Courtney at French Country Cottage for putting this pretty tree tour together. Please stop by the blogs at the end of this post. I’m sure you will find lots of ideas and tons of inspiration!

Not only is this tree exquisite but easy to assemble and it’s prelit. I love this tree! Hundreds of tiny light sparkling from within the tree to the ends of the branches! Balsam Hill trees are THE BEST!

The tree in our master bedroom is the quintessential ethereal Christmas tree. Growing up our children always had a Christmas tree in their bedrooms. No wonder they loved them so much! There is something so special about your very own Christmas tree. It’s just taken me this long to recognize it!

This tree seems like it glows from within. What a pretty thought! To make this tree even more snowy I layered the branches with poly snow. Like big puffy clouds of whiteness laying on top of the branches! You can see the Denali White Tree HERE.

The white tree must be Christmas tree royalty. It wears its glittery star like a crown! You can see it here

Even though the tree is white the branches look real! It’s as if this trees grew from a white pinecone in a very secret forest!

The theme for this year’s Christmas all throughout StoneGable is Silver And Gold. And the theme is reflected in the ornaments.

You can see the ornaments here, here, here and here. Each ornament is exquisitely made! Sigh!

Our Christmas gifts are wrapped in silver, gold and white too!

The stockings were hung on my dresser this year… at least mine was! You can see this pretty chunky stocking here. It has lots of room for the “stuffers” Santa brings!

Here’s a look at our master bedroom dressed up for Christmas!

Merry White Christmas, friends!

I’ll be sharing more of my Christmas bedroom and sitting room next week and share all product sources.

Please stop by my very talented friend’s blogs below and see how they decorated their trees…

    Absolutely GORGEOUS! Perfection.

  2. My comment was going to be “simply ethereal”, but then you already said that. So, I’ll just say absolutely beautiful. Every little detail is stunning, yet remains warm and inviting. Will be revisiting this room, again and again.

  3. Yvonne…all I can say is STUNNING!! So absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your Christmas decorating inspiration….just lovely! Loving the fur tree skirt as well!

    Blessings,
    Laura

It looks like what you’d expect to get if you booked a room at a high-end boutique hotel over the Christmas holiday. Simply beautiful and quite elegant!

  5. The room is lovely, but I love the open weave curtains. Can youtell me where they’re from? Thanks, Laura from the California desert!

  6. The tree is beautiful and so is the entire room. I can’t keep from noticing the dust ruffle and the curtains. I have been looking for a textured type curtain and dust ruffle, would you mind telling me where you got them ? I love all your decorating ideas. I enjoy reading all of your post and I have encouraged different people to subscribe to your emails so that they can start getting them too. Thanks for all your practical ideas and I have discovered lots of things I didn’t realize I could use until I “shopped my home”.

  8. Margaret Hughes says:

Heavenly! I am always amazed by your talent.

  9. LOVE LOVE LOVE your master bedroom and the tree is magical! Can you tell me where you purchased your rug? I am looking for one that is neutral but not rough feeling like some jute rugs can be. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have noticed you have a few similar ones in your home. Thanks so much and for a beautiful and inspiring blog.

    1. I’m doing a post about all sources in my bedroom next week… and showing the sitting room off the bedroom too.

  10. Cindy Lucarotti says:

Stunning! AND I too want to know where you got your bed skirt and curtains..or where you got the material if you made them! Thank you!

    1. The are raw silk and came from Soft Surroundings. And they are so much prettier in real life! I love them!

  11. Beverly Poag says:

So beautiful…like you’re floating around in bliss!

  12. The bed skirt is lovely, is it custom made or did you purchase it? We have a tall bed and need our bed skirt to have a long drop otherwise it looks weird. if you ordered the bed skirt would you be so kind as to share the source? Your bedroom is so pretty with that gorgeous tree.

    1. Like I said to Theresa I never use a tree skirt. It is a mongolian blanket. I’ll have sources for everything next week.

  13. It’s a beautiful tree! But, I’m more interested in your room. Where did you find that mirrored tall Boy? Gorgeous! Did I miss a reveal?

  14. Theresa at Winterberry Lane says:

You out did yourself Yvonne. I’m so jealous,I would like to do a white tree in my upstairs hallway at the top of our stairs. I have a question where did you get your christmas tree skirt? My husband and I went to our second Christmas Market tonight in the village of Julich, Germany. Lots to see and good food. The spiced wine is the best. I have noticed here in Germany alot of stars are used in the decors. Have a good evening.

    1. Oh, the German Market is on my bucket list! The tree skirt is a mongolian blanket. I never use a tree skirt. A blanket gives a much softer look.

  15. Elizabeth Ward says:

Your bedroom is ethereal! I love everything about it. I can’t wait to read your sources for your dust ruffle and window coverings. They are divine! Everything in your room is divine!

  16. Shirley @Housepitality Designs says:

You are so right…like big poofs of clouds in the corner of the room!…Gorgeous Yvonne and doesn’t it make you just want to sit in that room in the dark and just admire the glow of the tree?!! Love the ornaments too!…Stunning! Have a great weekend!!!

    1. Thanks dear friend! That is just what I’ve been doing. Going to be early and just sitting and staring at this tree. Really, Shirley, I have never had anything like it!

  17. Monica Sim says:

Sooooo BEAUTIFUL! I love everything, but I would have to say that those long shiny ornament are heavenly.

  18. mpdestinations@cox.net says:

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I just love that chair sitting next to the tree! I have never seen one with that pattern…is it custom or could you share where it is from!! Happy Holidays!!!

    1. I’ll share my whole bedroom and sitting room next week with sources.

  19. Jean Smith says:

    Yvonne,
I’m going to try and send you a note again. Something went wrong with IE address so you didn’t get my message. I just want to say the Christmas tree, curtains/bedskirt,bed/headboard, chalk-paint chair with to die for fabric ALL just blends so good. You are sooo talented and thank-you sooo much for sharing your decorating talents. I cannot say what your bedroom looks like; it’s beyond any magazine I’ve ever seen. Even down to the Christmas ornaments; all blends. I can’t wait to hear from you next week with info from your vendors. I just LOVE ALL of your BLOG.

    1. WELL, DIDN’T YOU MAKE MY DAY, JEAN!!!! Thank you so so much! And thanks for being a part of our StoneGable family!
      xo

  20. Carole Strawn says:

If I had that tree in my bedroom I don’t think I’d ever leave. It is absolutely gorgeous and just so YOU. This year we did something different and put our Christmas tree in our new dining room so we wouldn’t need to rearrange the furniture in our living room. Maybe next year I’ll have two – one for each room. No such thing as too much Christmas.

  21. MARY-ANN (FROM CANADA!) says:

Oh! My! Yvonne! Your Master Bedroom is absolutely gorgeous! You have done such a fabulous job of decorating! Your white tree just adds so much to all your loveliness. Thanks for always sharing your lovely décor with us! You are such a talented lady! Bless you!

    Have a wonderful week!

  22. I would love the idea of having multiple trees in the house. May I use your storage facility to keep them for the rest of the year? You must have a barn to store all your supplies.

  23. Julie Briones says:

Gorgeous, Yvonne! Ethereal is the perfect word for your Christmas master bedroom! I’m thinking I need a taller tree next year. My little 4 foot one just didn’t cut it this year. 😉 Hugs, sweet friend!

  24. Diane G. Barker says:

Can you tell me where you purchased your stockings on the mantle at? They are so very pretty!!

    1. I made them. I intended to do a diy but the season got away from me. Maybe next year.

  25. Cecilia from Georgia says:

Oh, how lovely! The white tree is mystical and you must feel that you are in another world when you awake in the morning. The mixture of textures in the room work so well together and the tree ties it all up beautifully. XOXO

  26. Wow, an I thought that green and red Christmas deco was it, but you just showed me the beauty in a white deco I am in love. Thank you so much.

  27. Maggie Nelson says:

I never saw a white Christmas tree decorated so beautifully and elegant and dreamy. You are so talented and one of the reasons I like your blog is because that you like white in all shades, shapes or form. Love love your white Christmas tree.!

You have done it again, Yvonne! Wowza! Love, love, love it. And can’t wait to see more of your bedroom!

  30. Yvonne,
Your Christmas decor is exquisite. The tree in the bedroom is
beautifully glowing. Is the star atop the tree also from Balsam Hill?
Thank you for sharing your home and talents!!!

    1. Thanks, Brenda. The star is from Balsam Hill and is a link in my post. It’s on sale too!

  31. The white Christmas tree is so pretty. I love the ornaments as well. The white trees seem to be a hit this year. Thank you for sharing. Jean

  32. Hi Yvonne,

What a magnificent tree! I did the white, silver and gold the last two years; loved so much that I decided to keep the same theme again this year. I agree about the white tree. I have a small one in my bedroom . Similarly to you, I used to have trees only n my girls bedroom. Your house is spectacular!
