Even though we might be wearing flip flops or have our toes in the water and sand it is not too early to be thinking about Fall! Many kiddos will be going back to school in a week or so… and that means fall is just around the corner!

It may be too early to pull out the pumpkins and mums, but don’t forget the bounty early fall brings!  Apples always remind me of September!

Here’s a very easy-to-make early fall monogrammed wreath that will welcome fall and friends to your front door!

This was a super easy wreath to make. I took my summer wreath and repuropsed it!  Here’s how the wreath looked hanging on my front door this summer…

And here is what I removed and changed on it… the “P” initial came off, the hydrangeas were removed and I turned the whole wreath’s orientation so the burlap bow was in the center at the top!

Now, here’s what I added… orange sunflowers, green apples and “P” initial.  Everything was fastened to the wreath with lots of hot glue.

From summer to early fall… easy-peasy!

Don’t you love these great faux green apples! They look so real. I got them at the Pottery Barn Outlet on sale. But I’ve seen nice ones at Target, Wallmart and HomeGoods!

Thank you for showing us how to make the subtle change for the transitioning season ~ I just love this and it is something that is good for both sides of The Pond!

Beautiful wreath, I like hanging them for every season! Did you paint the P with what kind of paint and how did you hang it up?

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

I love a wreath on the door but here in Michigan we have screens because we seldom us the air so it makes it impossible to hang a wreath on the actual door. I always love the ones you do and admire an actual door to hang them on.

Yvonne!! Your such an inspiration, love all your wreaths ideas. Have changed an made my own wreaths since I started following you. Look forward to seeing what ideas you have since you were away. Dawn, I have a screen on my door and thought I would have to smush the wrath between my screen and wood door. But I purchased a metal over the door wreath hanger and has worked well with my summer wreath.

Looking forward to changing the wreath up for the fall, just got new coupons for Michaels will go later!!

I love the colors in your wreath! orange and green! I wasn’t able to pin from any of your pictures.:( Sometimes you have a little Pin It button at the end of your post and I have been able to pin from that (even since your change). Hope this small bit of feedback helps you! Your wreaths are always an inspiration!

    Hello Yvonne,

Your beautiful wreath design inspired me last year, but I finally made it just last week! My mother lives in assisted living, and door wreaths are all the rage. So I made her a miniature version. We both are enjoying the cheerful colors as summer winds down. This has been so uplifting since we have had severe drought for 4 years….it’s pretty dreary here.

And also, I praise God for you sharing the truth of Christ on this platform He has given you. And finally, as many women feel a kinship with you because of your personal tone and warm homey touches, I find it a wonderful connection to my own roots!
