I think the time after Easter and before we are ready to decorate for summer is a decorating no man’s land. Many of us, after Easter, are ready for a seasonal decor change. Since Easter was a little early this year, early summer decorating seems so far off! So, how do you add a bit of personality and seasonal decor from now until May? Tomorrow’s post has the answer! And it’s easy! We love pretty and easy all at the same time, don’t we?

But today is WWW, and there are interesting, beautiful, and fun things to share!

3.) FAVORITE QUOTE: “The first place we lose the battle is in our own thinking. If you think it’s permanent then it’s permanent. If you think you’ve reached your limits then you have. If you think you’ll never get well then you won’t. You have to change your thinking. You need to see everything that’s holding you back, every obstacle, every limitation as only temporary.” ~Joel Osteen

In other words, this too shall pass. I say that to myself at least once every day. It’s definitely a good reminder!

4.) COTTAGE INSPIRATION: take a tour of this sustainably updated seaside cottage that’s filled with Swedish and French antiques. It features rustic wood beams, beautiful wood floors, and wonderful neutral walls.

5.) IS IT OK TO WEAR WHITE? Take a look at this article and I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with their answer!

6.) WHAT I’M WATCHING: The Good Fight on Amazon Prime Video, Manhunt on Apple TV+ (it’s the story of John Wilkes Booth), YesterdayThe Miracle Club, and One Day on Netflix, Call The Midwife is back on PBS, and We Were The Lucky Ones on Hulu.

7.) WHAT’S FOR DINNER? Some days, that’s the million-dollar question! Here are some easy ideas:

8.) FUN FAVORITES FROM WALMART:

9.) Stop back on Sunday for my take on how to build a capsule wardrobe. I’m starting with just ten pieces, so there won’t be an overload of ideas! If you aren’t on my email list, but would like to sign up, click HERE.

10.) Wishing you all a lovely week. XO

9. EASY RECIPE: Cheesy Roasted Asparagus—Preheat the oven to 400 °. Put one pound of washed and dried asparagus on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. Sprinkle with 2 TBS olive oil, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper and toss. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer. Roast the asparagus in the oven for 7-9 minutes until it begins to soften. Meanwhile, mix 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese together. Remove the asparagus from the oven and sprinkle the cheese mixture over the middle of the asparagus, only leaving the top and bottoms without cheese. Return to the oven and finish roasting for 6-8 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden. Serve immediately.

10. EASY SPRING DIYs: One of my favorite home decor DIYs is no-sew pillows! They are easy to make, and you can customize them to coordinate with your color story. Check out No-Sew Burlap Flower Pillow and Easy No-Sew Pillow Covers.

Answer to #7: April’s birthstone is a diamond, and daisies and sweetpeas are its flowers.
