Today is 20 MINUTED DECORATING. My friends and I are sharing ways to create beauty in your home in 20 minutes or less. Just think, you can probably do one of these decorating ideas during the commercials of your favorite one hour TV show!
My idea today can be put together in one commercial break!
I think much of the time simple is best when it comes to decorating!
Simple like five glass bottles in a tray becoming a great place to display a few stems of greens or a snipped tendrils or a tiny flowers. Just so pretty!
The idea is to keep this arrangement simple and minimal. And almost like magic, the synergy of its parts makes something so pretty it is bound to catch our eyes! How’s that for an easy summer centerpiece?
PUTTING TOGETHER THIS EASY SUMMER CENTERPIECE
I filled 5 different size bottles (see them HERE) with water and put them in a little tray. The bottles I ordered did come with a tray but I liked one I had better.
Then I added a little sprig of a plant to each one.
The secret to something this simple is to vary the cuttings in each bottle!
I cut three little twigs from the plants in the front and on the side of our home and the other two were from the containers of annuals we planted.
The smallest bottle is so adorable. It has the most delicate, tiny white flowers in it. Sorry, they are new to me this year and I forget what they are.
The little purple flowers gave this little summer centerpiece its punch of color!
Just think of all the possibilities!!! You can create so many different looks with these simple bottle vases! These are must-have decor!!!!
I hope you will round up 5 bottles and a little tray or platter to corral them in and give this sweet summer centerpiece a try!
I’ve picked out some cute bottle vases for you to see…

Hi Julie, the tray was a local purchase. I’m glad you like the arrangement!
Beautiful! I love the simplicity of this arrangement and my daughter loves to collect flowers on walks, so this would be a good way to save them and let her know they’re appreciated!
