ON THE MENU 226

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY WEEKEND! I hope you will have a spectacular weekend. This weekend we have all kinds of festivities! A pool party, a wedding, a brunch, and of course we are honoring Bobby! Lots of family and lots of cooking going on here too! Ready for a great week of recipes On The Menu?

Let’s cook!

MONDAY

Mondays are great days to make easy dinners! My Mondays are usually very busy. I hit the ground running so by the time dinner rolls around I want to make something that is not very complicated but very very good!

Today’s Chili Lime Shrimp sounds delicious!!!! Thank you MinSien at The Joyous Apron!

TUESDAY

This is a glorious recipe! I remember the first time I ate a slice of tomato pie. A friend brought one for dinner and it was heavenly!

If you have never made tomato pie put it on your must-make list! It reminds me of summer. But my advice is to make it with summer tomatoes!

Great recipe from Rosemary at An Italian In My Kitchen.

WEDNESDAY

Don’t you love one-pot meals? I do!!! Bobby and I like casseroles that get better for lunch the next day.

This was such a favorite we are repeating our main dish for tonight from A Family Feast!

THURSDAY- SOUP DAY

Soup is on the menu in and out of every season! Today’s soup is really called Crack Chicken Rice Soup. Oh, we will love this soup from Stephanie at Plain Chicken!

FRIDAY

I’m a fall-off-the-bone rib lover! How about you? And these wonderfully tasty looking ribs are from Erin at Well Plated. The best way to describe this recipe is OH, YUM!

Well Plated is a StoneGable Foodie Favorite!

We will have to invite a few people on the back patio for this meal!

SATURDAY- OVERNIGHT FAMILY

Tonight I’m making my very very favorite Air Fryer Cod from Tatiana at Berry And Maple. My sister is a chef and I know she will approve of this really fabulous fish recipe!

We eat this delicious cod a couple times a month so it is an On The Menu frequent recipe.

SUNDAY- FAMILY FATHER’S DAY BRUNCH

One thing I love about our home is how central our open kitchen is! As I cook for family/company can sit around our counter and chat. My sister says our kitchen is perfect to do a cooking show! LOL!

Our overnight family will have coffee and a little bite or two of the Sour Cream Coffee Cake while I make this gorgeous Breakfast Stromboli from Jenna at Recipe Diaries.

Thanks, Jenna! She is a StoneGable Foodie Favorite blog!

SWEET TREAT OF THE WEEK

I really forgot about this scrumptious strawberry recipe! I made it the second year I was blogging! I’m thrilled I found it and can’t wait to make it again!

This is an oldie but goodie! The images are not so great but the recipe is! I LOVE hand pies! They fall into the category of individual serving recipes and I am wild about all things individual servings!

I’m making these hand pies mid-week so if we are lucky there will be some left for the weekend!
