BAKER FILLED WITH CHRISTMAS COOKIES AND TIED WITH A BOW

Last year was the first year I made The Christmas Cookie Box. The image at the top of this post are just some of the cookies that go into the box.

The Christmas Cookie Box is an assortment of different kinds of cookies made with one (yes, 1) cookie dough!

There are 5 different flavors of dough from one “mother dough”! And you can make countless cookies!

ASSORTMENT OF COOKIES

This is such a fun and easy way to make Christmas cookies!

You can see all the recipes and lots and lots of images for The Christmas Cookie Box here.

THE BEST SUGAR COOKIES YOU WILL EVER MAKE

SUGAR COOKIES

Of all the cookies I bake, these are my favorites. I’ve used the same recipe for over 40 years! Obviously, I was just a child when I started baking these!

They are so pretty and can be decorated in so many ways. However, I think simple is best. So I used a fluted round or square cookie cutter, a light coating of royal icing, and a dusting of sanding sugar.

If you can only make one cookie, these should be it!

You can see My Favorite Sugar Cookie Recipe here.

NO-BAKE MERRY CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS

Don’t you love a no-bake Christmas cookie?

These pretty and tasty chocolate peanut butter balls are filled with good-for-you ingredients. So they look and taste indulgent, and they are healthy-ish!

Get the recipe for No-Bake Merry Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls here.

THE BEST RUGELACH COOKIES

These are jammy cookies! I think cookies that have the wonderful sweet flavor of my favorite jam in them are heavenly!

Rugelach cookies are so flaky and buttery! And they are easy to make too! The dough is made in a food processor!

This recipe is an oldie but goodie. See Jammy Rugelach Cookies here.

MY FAVORITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

I think almost everyone’s favorite cookie is Chocolate Chip!

These cookies are crisp with a softer center. YUM! Make sure you add Chocolate Chip cookies to your must-make for Christmas list!

I hope you will get the Christmas baking bug and try a recipe or two here! Happy Christmas baking!

  1. Hi Yvonne,
While browsing your favorite Christmas cookie recipes, I clicked on the recipe for jammy rugalach cookies. Instead of that recipe, the merry no-bake recipe appears. I’d really like the rugalach recipe since I make these cookies from a recipe I’ve had for years every Christmas. I’m always up for trying new recipes. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

  2. I can remember reading about your gingerbread cookies and would love to get the recipe❤️

    1. Hi Brigitte, Many of my older recipes were destroyed in a tech glitch. I had so many people try to get them back but they are gone. I am hoping to make the “men” before Christmas and write a post. Sorry!

I’ve been making your chocolate filled shortbread cookies for my mom for several years now. However, I’m now not able to locate your recipe. Help please.

    1. Yay! I would so appreciate it if you would rate them. 5 stars is the best! Thanks!

  5. I read your blog yesterday which linked to the Christmas Cookie Box page. I printed the basic recipe and made it today. Now the link to the rest of the instruction and recipes is gone. I have cookie dough for five batches of cookies but I cannot get the rest of the recipes or instructions. I only get linked to a page saying that page is gone.
