I notice you have James Farmer book in your bedroom. A Place To Call Home. He came to Atlanta to my brothers Art Gallery for a book signing. The day before my sister & I drove to Perry, Ga to his store. Very nice guy. Love his books.

    1. I love the way he writes and love his style too! It’s certainly Lo-Country Style! LOVE!

I like to mix styles, I always have! Traditional has always been my base, then I change decor with the times as we go along. Right now I have decorations that are rustic and some modern farmhouse.

  3. I’m a traditionalist when it comes to home decor. I love the color blue and I think I have a good percentage of Pier 1’s blue and white pieces. So sad they are closing. I’m wondering if a coffee table book of pictures from your beautiful homes may be in the making. I truly thought a book was in your future. Can’t wait to see your fabulous newly designed kitchen. We gutted our kitchen 15 years ago. Since then, we have painted walls a new color, added new drapes, and bought a new stove.

    1. I thought about writing a book for a long time. But am just so happy writing a blog I turned down many offers. I love connecting with my readers and working on other projects like my courses. I’m happy and don’t feel like I missed a thing.
