Here at StoneGable, we have a summer’s supply of rhubarb in our garden. And I make this galette often because it is so easy to whip up! Use the pate brisee (pie dough) recipe in this post or use one from the refrigerator section of your local grocers. Just make this galette!

I’m a huge fan of icebox cakes. My mother-in-law serves me a chocolate icebox cake when I was dating my husband many decades ago. And it was love at first bite! The dessert, not Bobby! LOL! Well, maybe Bobby too!

Put anything in a mason jar and it instantly elevates the contents! Things taste extra good!

Make the elements of this recipe and have them on hand when you have a sweet tooth or have company. I make the crisp and the fruit ahead and have it ready!

I also use the crumbly crisp on other things like yogurt! This is a keeper!

If you don’t have mason jars it tastes almost as good in a regular dish.
