  • Use blue and white with orange. It works like magic to give orange a sophisticated look.
  • Break up saturated orange from pumpkins by using lots of white items with them. This is a great designer’s secret!
  • If you don’t like bright orange, try burnt orange. It is much softer and easier to decorate with!
  • Offset fall’s dark colors by adding something white or a light neutral to your decor
  • Use a pedestal cake plate as a foundation for a fall arrangement

  • When real white pumpkins begin to turn yellow-ish paint them white with acrylic craft paint.

  • If there are gaps between the mums and the container fill them in with little pumpkins and gourds.
