I’m making them this weekend to put en masse on a metal tray in the kitchen.

I have used these pumpkins as place cards for dinner parties. Just add a strip of paper with the name of your guest on them and then let them take the pumpkin home!

And how about surprising some friends with a pumpkin just to say “happy fall”!

  1. Those little pumpkins are adorable. Before the little succulent drys up completely could you set it in some soil to root? That way they’d always have a sweet reminder of who gave them the plant.

    1. Oh yes! Marisa at the end of the post I have some tips for doing that!

Oh I really love the little darlings .But I think I would have to use faux everything. Tried real succulents. No luck with them. How do you think faux would look.Have a great day.?

  3. You can also glue moss on top of the pumpkin and it holds the succulent cuttings well. I think the moss also holds more moisture when you spritz them succulents and helps them last a bit longer. Don’t cut into the top of the pumpkin or it will rot.

  4. Love love love the mini pumpkins with succulents! I had seen these on another site but did not read if they were real! Thank you for sharing and what a fun project! Jean

  5. I was just thinking to myself, “they look so real” and then I realised that’s because they are! Fabulous idea!
