I’ve disliked beige for many years. I think it’s because I associate it with my parents’ house which had all same beige color throughout house and carpet same color. However, I recently used color Blanched from Magnolia and used in guest bedroom & hall bath. It’s a very warm light beige. I’ll tell you what I do like though it’s the beige on that chest that I’ve eyed for a long time. It’s probably impossible to find it now but any info brand website etc would be appreciated.

    1. Hi Joyce, there are so many beautiful beige shades and tones. And we no longer make everything beige. Beige and white or beige and white with another color is gorgeous! The chest has been out of stock for quite a while. It was manufactured by Hooker. It’s my favorite piece of furniture.

      1. I was watching your hoe decorating series and you showed two beige colors that went well together and for the life of me I cannot find that as I didn’t pin it when I should’ve and I want to use it in My Home as well it has a pink undertone and I hope you know of which color I’m talking about I’d really appreciate it as we’ve picked out floors and cabinets and now I need the wall color that was mentioned in the beige section with the pink undertone! I would really appreciate it if you could get back with me thank you for your awesome tutorial on decorating your home and so that’s what I’m going by to decorate my home lol thank you very much sincerely Gerri D’Agostino could you please answer soon? Lol

        1. I think I was talking about a white with just a hint of pink undertones. Try Atrium White by Benjamin Moore. I was also talking about Sonnet, a gorgeous off white but it has just a hint of yellow undertones. Just remember NEVER mix pink and yellow undertones together.

Before selling our CA home and moving to TX, we painted the interior SW Patience. OMG, what a huge difference. It is the most delightful warm beige with just a drop of orange to keep it from being boring. Our new house is painted PPG Elusion which is supposed to be a warm sandy gray. Ummm, not so much. I’m really tempted to paint the living room in SW Patience. Hubs would probably have a stroke, lol.

  4. So glad to see the swing from grey. We do love oir grey walls but my decorator itich is stirring in a big way! Beige is good if it is the right one…I sure don’t want a return to sandbox beige!!
