8. FASHION PICKS: Spring is often a season of celebrations with weddings, showers and other events. My own daughter is getting married this year, so I’m on a major quest to find that most elusive of things: a comfortable, but stylish, evening shoe with a heel! So far I’ve found these options:

9. WHAT’S INSPIRING ME AROUND THE WEB: This is the embodiment of updated traditional mixed with modern vintage, here’s a stunning example of timeless rustic chic with Provençal panache, and this one is a bit more modern but with tons of warmth and lovely details.

10. UP NEXT: A decoupage DIY for spring.

1.) In my never-ending quest to renew and refresh what I already have, I’ve updated this bunny nest concept that first appeared on the blog back in 2013. I think this is my favorite version!

2.) For my favorite affordable Amazon finds for spring, click HERE.

3.) FAVORITE QUOTE: “A quiet life isn’t a dull life. It’s an invitation for joy.” ~Found HERE.

4.) INSPIRING IDEAS: I saw this porch on Pinterest, and even though it’s a summer post, all the ideas are perfect for spring as well. This gem of a house has neutral walls, but take a look at how color and personality was added to every room.

5.) SPRING DECOR FINDS:

6.) ARE YOU WISHING FOR EASY IDEAS TO REFRESH YOUR SPACES? It might be a bit early, but this backyard makeover is full of inspiration, and this California cottage has so many things to love, from the arched doorways to the gorgeous light wood floors.

7.) I just updated and reorganized this detailed post on styling your coffee table…so if you’re ready for a refresh, I’ve got you covered!

8.) Do you wish you could come up with some easy but tasty side dishes? If yes, I feel your pain! Side dishes are a struggle for me too. Here are a few of my favorite recipes: this fresh and delicious apple salad, these rosemary roasted potatoes, and this small batch homemade crockpot applesauce.

9.) Ever since I was a little girl, I have wished that I could live on the water. It would take a true miracle for that to happen, so instead, I love to look at waterfront homes online and in magazines. I found two that just make me sigh. The rooms in this Lake Wylie home are stunning, and there’s even an outdoor shower…and take a look at this harbor-front cottage-for-two in Maine.

10.) Wishing you all a lovely week!

7. FUN AND INTERESTING FACTS: What is the real name of a hashtag? What is the fear of long words called?

8. SPRING CAPSULE WARDROBE:

9. SAVORY AND SWEET AIR FRYER SALMON: Put the zest and juice of one lime, 3TBS maple syrup, 3 TBS soy sauce, and 4 wild-caught salmon fillets (skin on) in a zip-type bag. Remove as much air as possible and marinate the salmon for 15-30 minutes. Preheat an air fryer to 400°. Remove the salmon from the bag and place it in the air fryer, skin side up. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the internal temperature of the salmon reaches 120°. While the salmon is cooking, put the marinade in a small saucepan and gently simmer over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes until it thickens. Serve salmon with marinade drizzled over it.

10. While I’m getting our home ready for this year’s spring home tour, I thought you might get inspiration from last year’s tour, Easy Spring Decorating Ideas Spring Tour, and Spring Home Tour, Part 2. Happy spring decorating!

ANSWER TO #7: The real name for a hashtag is an octothorpe. The fear of long words is called Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. Now you know.

Happy Wednesday, Friends!
