Hi Yvonne. Was wondering if you had any ideas for deer proof flowers that I can plant in my urns at my front door. The deer keep eating everything that we have put there so far. Appreciate your feedback.
Oh, no! This is such a common problem! Not sure what to do. I just looked online and there are TONS of articles about how to keep deer from eating flowers! Look there.
Thanks for hosting! Hope you had a nice weekend.
Thank you for the linkup! I love all those pillows!!

Hello Yvonne- nice to meet you…
I have just come across your website and want to let you know I have a lot of reading to do on your site. It looks beautiful and fun to look at and so professional……
Our home is at least 25 years old and I want to refresh it and I am having a hard time on coming up with figuring out what I really want and I do not want to just do the fad thing that is out right now. The grays and whites and all of that We will be in this house for we hope another 25 years and I would like now to have it just be peaceful and a place of relaxation and calm and sweetness. We have a lot of the American pine baseboards and framework . I am worried about painting it white . What do you think?
I would love to hear from you …..I have never written anyone before and I hope this is the way to do it…..
With fond wishes
Sincerely
Gale Ann Bradley.
Hi Gale, I am so thrilled you are now a part of the StoneGable family! Welcome and thanks for commenting. It’s my way to hear my fabulous readers and connect with them on a personal level.
Now let’s address your America pine baseboard and framework. Okay, let me just say THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU LIKE AND I NOT WHAT IS POPULAR! This is soooooo important. And not seeing your home makes helping with decorating dilemmas a little difficult.
I think painting baseboards and framework white with light colored walls is more restful and brings attention to the furnishings and accessories of a room and not to the windows, door frames etc.
I’d advice you to pick a room that you would not mind the wood to be painted and see if you really like it. Choose a bedroom, bathroom to start. And then evaluate how you feel about painting the rest of the baseboards and framework in your home!
Hope this helps!
Great ideas from The Scoop. Thanks for sharing.
