TEXTURED MOSS BALLS
Moss balls are expensive and one of those ideas that I said “I can do that” and I did! So easy and a fraction of the cost of specialty store moss balls.
Bring a little of the outdoors in with textured moss balls.
AGING AN URN WITH PAINT
This year why not take all your outdoor pots and containers and give them a little aged love! It’s so so easy to age or change the colors of an outdoor container to work with your outdoor decor and spaces!
TWIGGY GARDEN MARKERS
My herb garden never looked better with these natural twig garden markers. They are so fun to make! And their natural twiggy style works particularly well in the garden!
NO SEW BURLAP FLOWER PILLOW
I know you have probably seen this pillow before. It’s really one of my very favorites! What an easy pillow to make! I’m excited to make another with a different burlap patterned fabric! If you can trace and cut a circle you can make this!
POTTERY BARN INSPIRED ROPE WRAPPED CANDLEHOLDER
I bought two candle cylinders at the dollar store and made these great looking candle holders at a fraction of the Pottery Barn price! I glued starfish to the front of them but the embellishing possibilities are endless! These would make an amazing gift!
NO SEW POTTERY BARN INSPIRED PATRIOTIC STARS
Another WOW factor DIY. My patriotic pinwheels hung above my mantel all last summer. Everyone who came to visit loved them!

PAINT WASHING TERRACOTTA POTS

Create a big summer welcome for your front door. This wreath is pretty and personalized and I’m sharing some designer tips that will make this wreath look especially amazing!
NO SEW RUNNER MADE FROM A TABLECLOTH
Do you throw out tablecloths that have been ruined by a stain? How about making a table runner from the part that is still good?
I made this table runner from a $5.00 tablecloth I found at our local HomeGoods. Brighten up your summer table with a pretty new runner!
Here’s a bonus summer home and garden DIY project…

What clever ideas. I’m going to make the markers today!
All are great money saving projects. I especially like the idea of making a table runner from a stained tablecloth.
Great ideas and inspiration! I usually don’t like the clay pots painted/washed. However, the ones you have done are great because the jute added makes them look ‘classy’, not like a child’s craft project. >.<
Such great ideas – thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the all the great ideas Yvonne. Our two granddaughters are coming to Papa & Gramma’s tomorrow, can not wait to try to make some of your painted flower pots and make some coasters with the girls. Have a great day.
I love all these ideas and plan to make several of them. It would be fun to get together with my daughters and granddaughters over and work on them together. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the ideas, a couple of them I already made them before but I always want to make the tea cup bird feeder. I remember see them in the back yard of some antiques/garden at the beach here in California.
I think the rope wrapped candle holder would be a fun hostess gift to make and have on hand for those summer party invites.

You always have the best ideas!
So many great ideas – thanks for sharing!! My son is getting married this summer and I’d like to try the Mr. and Mrs. pillows….
I’ve previously pinned most of these ideas and made them like the moss balls, the rope wrapped candle holders, and the coasters; some I’ve pinned but haven’t made yet like the Mr. and Mrs. pillows and I’ll be making a set of those that say Rest and Well once we have a guest bedroom (when our son gets his own place). I did see a few projects here that I haven’t seen before like the teacup bird feeder so I’ve pinned that project and will be making that for my mom for Mother’s Day and giving it to her along with a big bag of seed and a nice card. All of these are great projects though and you can’t go wrong making any of them.
Wow this post is loaded with great ideas! Fun!
The tea cup bird feeders caught my and I checked out all the others…Awesome and easy! Thank you for the inspiration and I hope your ankle is much better?
