ON THE MENU WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 24TH- I have a week's worth of scrumptious dinner recipes for you!

So much for feeling like fall around here! We are having record heat well into next week. But if the calendar says September then we eat seasonally! I’ll be using pumpkin, butternut squash, and pears this week. LOVE those flavors! Here’s what’s on the menu this week…

Oh, yum!!! Lasagna! We love it. I have five boxes of lasagna noodles sitting in my pantry. I’m not sure why but I need to use them up! Don’t you think these lasagna roll ups are a great way to make a dent in my stockpile?

WEDNESDAY- SOUP DAY

If you learn how to make my Nani’s soup you will make it over and over to the delight to anyone who is lucky enough to eat it. Really, it is THE BEST EVER!

I make a huge pot full and freeze the broth. YUM! I love to grab a container of soup and heat it up for lunch!

THURSDAY

I wish more people would cook whole fresh fish. Yes, you must navigate around the bones, but the flavor is so worth it! And it’s so so easy to make too! Go to a fishmonger and get a great fresh white fish and make this beautiful recipe!

If you make one thing this week, this should be it! What a scrumptious fall meal! Great for a family dinner but so so company worthy too!

PEAR TART

Beautiful and full of sweetness and the delicate taste of pears! This is a WOW FATOR dessert!

BONUS RECIPE!

This is one amazing soup! Super easy to make and it freezes so well. Again, I’m eating this for lunches!!!! I take 3 Italian sausages out of their casings and fry them up and put them in the soup to finish it. And use lots of freshly cracked pepper too! Oh, my!!!!
