Summer and outdoor dining go perfectly together! So get your dishes and take them outside!!!! Set an easy table and make a dinner to match! Easy, breezy and oh so summery! Here’s what’s on the menu this week…
Let’s make dinner this week!
MONDAY
Oh, yes, please!!! I think this recipe will be a big winner at our home! YUM!
- SPINACH CHICKEN CASSEROLE
- TOMATO AND FRESH MOZZARELLA WITH BASIL
TUESDAY
Another very easy weeknight recipe which could also be company worthy! This IS sexy food!
WEDNESDAY
I just got a new toaster oven/ air fryer and I’m going to try to air fry these delicious little chicken tenders! So good!
THURSDAY
I recipe that has the word “pesto” in it draws me to it like a moth to a flame. Top crusty bread with cheese, tomatoes and chicken along with the pesto and this recipe is a must make!
- FRENCH BREAD PESTO CHICKEN PIZZA
- GREEK SALAD
FRIDAY
The kids are home for the weekend and they love summer rolls. And don’t these look beautiful? I’m also serving a VERY tasty chicken satay! Double love!
SATURDAY
Corn has come to Lancaster County! So I’m pairing up one of our favorite summer foods with bacon and shrimp for a super summer soup! When we took a family vacation to Bar Harbor one of our most memorable days was hiking around Jordan Pond! And we had a picnic style lunch featuring Jordan Pond Popovers. I can’t wait to surprise my kids with a popover encore.
SUNDAY
Pork is such a hard meat to coax fabulous flavor from. The fat has been bred out of it and unless it is cooked perfectly it can be tough and tasteless. But not this pork! Wow, talk about amazing flavor!
- CUBAN MOJO MARINATED PORK
- LOADED BAKED POTATOES
- GRILLED VEGETABLES WITH BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE
TREAT OF THE WEEK…
This gorgeous, showy dessert only looks hard to make. It’s really easy!!!! This recipe needs to make its way to your culinary repertoire!
Have a scrumptious week!
My husband mentioned an air fryer a while back, I like the idea of a toaster oven combo. Would you mind telling us which one you bought?
Yvonne, I love the pesto chicken recipe and have made something similar. But be VERY careful how close to your broiler you put this. When I made it the last time, the pesto oil caught on fire and the intense heat in the oven blew out the glass! Not to mention the damage caused by the fire extinguisher retardant in the kitchen!!! BEWARE!!
Oh no!!! A culinary disaster. So glad you are okay, June! Thanks for the warning.
Yvonne, thank you for the spinach chicken casserole. Making it for dinner this evening. I have always loved your On the Menu Week posts. This is where I gather my new recipes. Many have been shared with family members.
I have not been able to check in for a week and now that I am home….well I am catching up with the past week excitement that you have been having at Stonegable! Wow! you have been busy. Some of these recipes look great for making ahead and serving when my grandchildren arrive. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into making your blog so enjoyable.
Thanks for another week of great recipes to try! The Summer Berry Lemon Marscapone Tart looks amazing!
