ON THE MENU WEEK OF JULY 2ND

Happy July! It’s hard to believe we are this far into summer! Our garden can tell though! It’s hot and humid and everything in it is growing at a riotous speed!  We are seeing the first of our early producing tomatoes and we are gathering in cukes in basket fulls! We like to eat out of the garden so you just might see me early in the morning or late in the evening picking weeds and lots of produce! Here’s what’s on the menu this week…

MONDAY

I think pasta and sundried tomatoes are a match made in heaven! We will eat the leftovers for lunches. Oh, YUM!

TUESDAY

I’m in hog heaven since our Whole Foods opened this week. We even have a fishmonger! Yes, I hear it is called whole paycheck but all I know is I LOVE the quality of their food!

WEDNESDAY- HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Our patio will be very quiet this July 4th! However, we will be celebrating with a few family members! Happy 4th to you and yous! Bourbon bacon jam? Yes, please!

THURSDAY

I’ve made this recipe before and it received a big thumbs up at our house! As a matter of fact, I made the summer vegetable tian too and we thought that was a winner!

FRIDAY

I’ve made this scrumptious chicken recipe before and it is so so good!  Don’t you love recipes that are both delicious and easy to make?

SATURDAY- FAMILY REUNION

This weekend is so exciting for us! We are all getting together and having a mini-family reunion! Lots of family, lots of kids, lots of fun!

TREAT OF THE WEEK

This is one of my favorite foodie posts from my early days as a blogger. I’ve revamped the recipe and made it a whole lot easier! I think this just might be the perfect summer dessert!

Hope you have a scrumptious week!

I’ve made the Fajita Chicken recipe with a Mexican Chopped Salad and it was delish! And Cindy, both recipes are great for WW members. I’ve also made the Margarita Asparagus Stuffed Chicken by the same person and it was great and only 3 sp!
