I love to menu plan! And to grocery shop! And to cook! But if I’m not organized I really don’t like to cook dinner. So for me, staying on top of cooking tasks help to ensure I will actually cook dinner. Do you menu plan? If you need a little help I have a week’s worth of scrumptious recipes waiting for you! Ready for a delicious week?
Make sure you get this free printable menu plan and shopping list to help you stay organized at mealtime!
This delicious comfort food chicken from Jamie Cooks It Up is perfect for a winter weeknight dinner!
The big secret ingredient in this yummy chicken is Ritz crackers. They make a fabulous crusty coating for the chicken. I’ll forgo the cheese and just use crushed crackers. So excited to make this!
I’ve been so hungry for salmon lately! Grilled, baked, pan-fried, air fryed, cakes, fillets, steaks and more! Tonight’s salmon is simple and beautiful, my favorite way to make it!
Thanks, Tabia from Cooktoria for this scrumptious recipe!
WEDNESDAY- SOUP DAY
I’ve made this soup twice times in the last week. It is that good! And here it is again ON THE MENU! What an easy soup to make and very healthy. I’m making a double batch so Bobby can take some for lunches.
Because he loves mushrooms, I doubled the mushrooms, added an extra chicken breast (actually I put them in raw when I added the chicken stock) and at the end put in an additional cup of stock. What a fabulous soup that eats like a meal!
Thank you Mommy Cooking!
THURSDAY- SLOW COOKER DAY
Chili is a staple here at StoneGable! And I don’t feel quite right if I don’t have containers of it in the freezer!
Chili needs time for the flavors to marry together. So what better way to make it than a slow cooker.
Because chili is quite forgiving I’ll almost double this recipe and freeze a bit for lunches and when I just don’t feel like cooking!
A really delicious recipe everyone should have in their recipe box from Stephanie at Spaceships And Laser Beams.
FRIDAY- VALENTINE’S DAY
We don’t go out on Valentine’s day. I really don’t like all the prix fixe dinners and hoopla. Restaurants make a lot of money on Valentine’s dinner and getting people in and out is one way they do it.
So we will go out sometime next week to one of our favorite Lancaster restaurants. If you live in my neck of the woods try Lucas, J Jeffries, Cork And Cap, Checker’s Bistro and if you really want a very unique dining experience try Ammorette (and do the chef’s table)!
One of our favorite pasta dishes here at StoneGable is Pasta Carbonara! It’s easy to make and oh boy, is it delicious!
Tonight we are having a quick Pasta Carbonara and a big Greek salad. YUM!
I think a great steak is something every home chef should learn to make! It’s really easy and wow, does it taste fabulous. And while it’s resting, making a pan sauce to go over it is another must-know skill! Without a doubt, if you have a great piece of steak you can prepare it as good as any restaurant!
Thanks to the Stay At Home Chef. I love the way she shows us how to make a great pan-seared steak!
I made this wonderful chicken recipe for company dinner about a month ago and it got rave reviews! It is so good and really easy to make!
This will become a favorite of yours too! YUMMY! A really delicious recipe from Eatwell 101.
SWEET TREAT OF THE WEEK
I’m making a big batch of these darling little hand pies to give as Valentine’s Day gifts to some of my friends. They are just so precious and taste absolutely divine!!!!!
Have a scrumptious week, friend!
