I turned off the lights and lit lots candles and turned on the white twinkle lights throughout the house. How about you, does your home glow with that beautiful light that only Christmas can bring? I think Christmas nights are magical! They sparkle with tiny light and warmth and joy! So happy you are here… come on in!

  10. The tree is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen and it’s those lights!! They seem to sparkle and glow from deep within the tree. Are you using LED lights or another special kind? They glow in a way I haven’t see before. Certainly not like my pre wired tree lights.

  17. Yvonne…BREATHTAKING. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH ADJECTIVES! This is by far my most favorite post of all that I’ve read from your blog. I just want to stare and smile and sigh….You are incredibly gifted, my friend. Those tablescapes. Wow. Stunning. Honestly…I’m running out of words here. Thank you for sharing your beautiful NIGHT-LIT home with us at Christmas. Rejoice…Our Savior Is Born. Good tidings and much love.

  18. I just discovered your site today and so put on quiet Christmas music( as you suggested) on my laptop while I enjoyed your Christmas nights tour,as well as, all of the other bloggers. What a treat even on January 15,2016! I am in a 1940’s cabin in Colorado with snow outside and winter winds blowing and a fire burning in the wood stove.

  19. Hi! Just want to say that when I see something on Pinterest that I like, more often than not, I am directed to your blog. I just love your decorating taste.

I have a question about the bedroom with Christmas lights strung across the headboard. How did you make that headboard?

    Thank you!

  20. love that pillow on the sofa of the car with the tree on top!! Can I ask where I can find one???? Love your house BTW!!!

  21. Love the warm, feeling of Christmas that I got from your home tour. Unfortunately, it was extremely difficult to enjoy when ads were constantly popping up over pictures. Many times to remove them, I would click on the X, yet it took me directly to the ad. Had to get out of the ad, return back to the tour and was put at the very top of the post. This happened 4 times. Not very fun! I love your blogs content and your style of decorating, it’s just very unfortunate all that is skewed by the ads on your blog. Not wanting or trying to be rude at all. I just wanted you to know that it’s extremely frustrating. Thank you.

  22. This is my first time on your blog and imagine my delight when I began scrolling the photographs of your Christmas Nights Tour. There is only one word that describes your holiday design style…MAGICAL!

  23. Love your tast in design! Just wondering if you could share your source for your lovely white slip covered chairs that flank your f/p?

    Merry Christmas!

  24. Your home is shining with Christmas magic. I can’t wait for sunset each evening so I can enjoy my Christmas tree and special lighting and all the warmth it brings to my home.

  25. Beautiful. I especially love the sled holding Christmas presents. Very warm and welcoming. Thank you for letting us in. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

  26. Your home is beautiful, warm and magical. I love the star theme you have used this year. I just may borrow your idea for next year’s theme at my home.

  27. Oh how I love night shots with the beautiful glow of candles and lights. These are beautiful photos. How did you get the lights to glow and twinkle in your photos?

  28. I love everything you do! Sooooo breathtaking! Can I ask where you got your snowflake ornaments on the garland over your headboard. I love the shape of them. Are they wood or metal?

    1. The garland is just a regular old garland I got at a local store. I added the lights and snowflakes. I am sorry but the snowflakes came from a local shop and they don’t sell on the web.

  29. Beautiful! How do you photograph so beautifully at night? My photos either turn out to bright with flash or without that sparkle . Love your blog read it all the time!

  30. Truly enjoyed all your rooms. So beautiful. Could you tell me where you found the stars you used on the chandelier and also where you found the planters used with the boxwoods.?

    1. Hi Kathy, I made the 3D paper stars using my Cricut electronic paper cutter. It was insanely easy to make these. And the cache pots came from The Pottery Barn a few years ago.
