When my children were little they called white bread “bunny bread”! Today let’s make real bunny shaped bread that is hippity-hoppity easy and would be a delightful surprise to add to your Easter meal! Let’s bake!
Now, if you have followed StoneGable for some time you will know that I am NOT a baker!
But these are adorable to make for Easter and they are super easy to make too! I used refrigerator bread dough to make them.
The bunnies here are flavored with butter and herbs but they would look just as cute and be sweet if brushed with butter and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar!
You don’t have to hop down bunny trails to make this fluffy-tail bread! Just get your paws on some refrigerator bread dough and begin!
I made a batch of this scrumptious little bread and it disappeared. So you might want to make a double batch!
Bunny bread is best served hot right out of the oven.
This easter I am making sweet bunny bread for our traditional Easter breakfast. However, I’m going to tweak our traditional breakfast a bit. But don’t tell anyone.
We usually have a breakfast casserole but that would be way too much bread!!! So I’m lightening it up and serving a beautiful mile-high quiche!
You can see the recipe HERE. This delicious quiche lorraine as a secret ingredient in it that makes it rise so high! Excuse the post, it was published the first year I blogged and I have not updated it yet. But the recipe is fabulous!
I guess we might be starting a new tradition this year… quiche and sweet bunny bread! YUM!
