It’s back to school time and I’m thinking there are a whole lot of kiddos and parents going from summer mode to school routine! As a former 1st grade teacher, I have seen first hand the value of a good breakfast. And as a mom, I know how rushed some mornings were getting my children out and onto the school bus! One of my go-to breakfasts during those wonderful and frantic years was a healthy breakfast pizza. So easy to whip up… and my kids LOVED them!

STONEGABLE BREAKFAST PIZZA
- English Muffins, split
- Pizza Sauce or Spaghetti Sauce
- Parmesan Cheese (I use the green “shaky can”)
- Bag of Pizza Cheese (or any cheese your kids like)
- topping (I used panchetta and sliced tomatoes)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put split muffins on a rimmed baking sheet
Spoon pizza sauce over the muffins
Add cheeses on top.
Bake for 15 minutes and then broil a couple of minutes until the cheese is golden brown and melty.
Add toppings. Serve with fruit and milk!
Easy! A great healthy breakfast without a lot of fuss!
Kids love this for dinner, too!
This recipe can also be a fabulous breakfast for adults. Use the grown up flavors you love too!
