Good morning, Yvonne!
Well, I must tell you, I cheated and didn’t get away with it! I love the chinoiserie eggs so I purchased eggs from Michaels and tried using them to do the tissue eggs. They are not bad, but they definitely do not come close to yours. I could not get pure white eggs so the pastel colors, though light, still come through. I am going to try again with different napkins that have a yellow background, but a white egg is definitely needed for the blue and white. I generally do not buy white eggs unless coloring for Easter but maybe I will try again this coming week.
Also, have you heard of “butter lambs “? We are making these at church on holy Saturday. I will send a picture. This is a tradition in our parish, but I am rather new here so it will be the first time for me.
I love butter lambs and use them each Easter! How funny. I’m glad you told us the results of using plastic eggs!
Love all of these eggstra beautiful ideas!!!
Thanks, Linda!
