Happy September! Let’s start celebrating fall! Come on all you naysayers. Stop dragging your feet in the sand! It’s time to get inspired by fall and all it’s beauty! Let’s get busy celebrating by creating something for the upcoming season with burlap! Burlap and fall were made for each other! They work and play so well together! I’ve put together 4 of my favorite fall diy’s  with lots of hand holding instructions to help you make fall decor that is a tribute to the season!

 

The first diy has to be my BURLAP FALL WREATH! This is such an easy peasy way to bring fall to the front of your home in a big fluffy burlappy way! If you have not made a burlap wreath yet, what are you waiting for?

This is probably my all-time favorite thing I made out of burlap. These BURLAP AND TOILE ACORNS are beautiful!!!  Not only were they fun to make, they are such a fabulous fall decoration in a large wooden bowl!

Every wreath needs a really great bow! Here’s an insanely easy tutorial for making a fabulous BURLAP WEBBING BOW. This bow will take you 5 minutes, honestly!

Do you love pillows? Me too! Pillows are easy and smart ways to bring the season into you decor! Here’s a NO SEW BURLAP FALL LEAF WREATH PILLOW. It’s a store bought pillow cover with a pretty circle of iron-on burlap leaves! Again, so easy… and soooooo fall!

  1. My son is visiting for Labor Day, from Savannah, GA, where he is a meteorologist. Our conversation yesterday went like this.”Well, tomorrow is the first day of fall.” My response, “Not really, but I wish it was.” He said, “Mom, climatology wise, September 1st is the first day of fall.” I accept that correction with crisp fall-like vigor!   3. I saw recently the instruction for a beautifl wreth on a black dor with a burap ribbon and a large wooden initial painted black. Now I am reeady t make this as a house warming present for my friend and can’t seem to fnd the nstructions. Can you help? Love your site!!
