These tailored white curtains are a Pottery Barn find. I purchased them (on a major sale) over 6 months ago and they have been packed away in their box until yesterday.

What are they waiting for?  A bedroom to be painted! But, I just couldn’t let them sit any longer…

I thought they would bring a pretty summery feel to the eating area just off the kitchen… at least until the woodwork in the bedroom is painted.

I had Belgium linen curtains there, but it is fun to change things up… just for the summer.

I like the light and bright change! I wonder if they will ever make it back up to the bedroom?

What’s not to love about soft, billowing, white curtains in the summer? Perfect! They look beautiful in your eating area – will you be able to give them up once the bedroom is ready? 😉 Jane

The white drapes add a light, airy feel to the room, Yvonne – perfect for the summer! I love changing out décor for the seasons. Even little details go a long way to freshen things up.

Congrats on the new linky party. Why don’t you link it to Time Travel Thursday this week to let others know. And have you entered my “French-inspired” giveaway yet? Tonight is the last night to enter.

The white looks SO pretty against the paint color. I am thinking they will stay here. Well, maybe in the FALL you might change them back:):) XO, Pinky I’ll be late for the party every week, don’t get home on Wed. nights til after 9:30 usually:(

Very pretty, Yvonne, and perfect for summer. We have simple white linen curtains in our family room and kitchen (patio doors.) Mine were made with clearance linen tablecloths. All I had to do was hem one end and clip them on.

    Hi Yvonne,

When did you go back online? I guess I missed something as the last time I read your blog you were leaving us. Anyway, I am so glad you didn’t.
