Do you know my co-host and best buddies? Anita from Cedar Hill Farmhouse and Kelly from My Soulful Home. These girls are so smart and funny and friendly and we seem to never run out of things to say!
You can hear us talking about seasonal decor and how toothpaste can be used in a pinch to fill a nail hole. And how one of us loves classical music and motorcycles and why a grouping of three decor items looks so darn amazing! You may be surprised to find out that you can actually paint your subflooring with gorgeous results or that we are, from time to time, world-class trash pickers in order to rescue a forlorn table in a dumpster or branch on a burn pile!
We can explain color theory and how to make a pillow with fabric and a glue gun. We can tell you how to hang curtains to make a window look larger and how to layer rugs to make a room more cozy! We are experts on mixing metals and love neutrals!
We are obsessed with the concept of tiny houses and adore Mongolian pillows and have something sliplapped in our homes. Some of us admit we went through a “Tuscan phase” while the other might not be able to admit it just yet!
We love love love calling one of the co-hosts by the same name her southern mama calls her! And sometimes we make the funniest and/or embarrassing bloopers!
We disagree, albeit nicely, about current trends and gray and marble and chairs and actually quite a lot! Our voices will let you know that we love and respect one another and we are the best of friends! So we are free to speak frankly and freely! We feel the love and magic between us even though thousands of miles separate our microphones!
Oh, we are all storytellers! Funny, funny stories! Like how a co-host showed off her “baby boos” at her local grocery store or how a certain co-host’s southern mama prayed her into her first sofa! Have you ever painted a room to look like the inside of a Pepto Bismal bottle? One of us did! And our listeners love Bobby, Kevin, and Peter as much as we do!
What you will not find on our podcast is a parade of experts telling you their stories or giving you lofty advice. And there is nothing wrong with that but we… Anita, Kelly and I… want to give you lots and lots of tips and advice that are practical and useful and easy!!!!!!
We want to go with you when you walk your dog or exercise on the elliptical or be with you when you put in a load of laundry. Just think you can even take us on your ride to work and we will keep you company! And we can, that is the beauty of a podcast!

I’ve always love to decorate things and make things pretty. I remember being like this as a young girl. As time went on I kept honing my love and skill and style.

I just listened to my 1st and your 100th podcast and felt so good! I’ve relocated from Washington to California recently. I’m in my home that has lots of blank space, and I will be decorating it to show my tastes for once in my life. I loved what one of you said about doing just that! Rest assured, I will be listening from now on!

Happy 100! I have enjoyed every one of them immensely Yvonne! I normally listen to you crazy, fun loving & informative decorators while working out at the gym and boy does the time fly. I’m sure some people think I’m a little weird at time when I laugh out loud or shake my head nodding to your ideas or stopping to put a note in my phone to do or check out later.
