THE SCOOP #259
Welcome back to THE SCOOP! I’m counting down the days until the bright pink cast on my right leg comes off. If all is well I’ll go from a cast to a walking boot on Friday. I’ve been wheelchair and bed bound for 6 weeks. Oh, I can’t wait to walk and begin styling my home again! I’ll be in a walking boot for about 4-6 more weeks until my ankle is totally healed. A big huge thank you to all my friends and family who helped me so so much! And thank you to my fabulous readers for sticking with my and praying and encouraging me! Your friendship means more than you will ever know!!!!
Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedules to link up with us and find inspiration each week!

thanks gals, for hosting such a great party!
Hi Yvonne,

Thanks for hosting Yvonne! So glad your ankle is healing!! xo Take good care!
Thank you, Yvonne and your cohosts, for yet another week of the Scoop.
Dropping off my Strawberry Pie Cupcake. Hope everyone’s had a good weekend!
Looking forward to reading all the wonderful link ups. Praying all goes well and you can get the cast off on schedule. A word of caution. Be sure to pay attention to how your hips and back feel while in the boot. If at all possible try to wear a shoe on the other foot of comparable height. My sweet girls had to go in for many chiro adjustments after being in a boot because it threw their hips off.
Thanks for the great party.
Thanks for the party. It was a good way to start the morning. Glad you’ll be in a boot soon! I feel your pain–fell at Disney World(!) a couple of years ago and broke my shoulder. It was the only time where I wished I could close my eyes and when I opened them it would be 6 weeks later!
Good luck with the healing process, Yvonne. So thrilled to be featured.
Hi Yvonne – Thank you for hosting and wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs, Holly
Wishing you the very best and thanks for all you do.
Your blog link up is always fun and full of beautiful
things.
Best wishes, Mimi

Thanks for the party! I can’t imagine being bed bound and in a wheelchair; prayers you get in that boot soon!
Praying for you, Yvonne – for a speedy recovery! I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you for hosting. Sounds like you are getting better and will be moving around soon. Prayers to you.
Thanks for the party and best of luck with the healing process!
The scoops are always helpful. Thank you and looking forward to your Feb reveal!
I Love the heart-shaped wreaths! What a gorgeous idea for Valentines Day!
Hope you are up and walking soon.
Prayers for your continued healing.
Thanks for all of the scoop! Great ideas.
I broke my ankle once and had to have surgery as well. Not being able to put weight on it made it difficult to even load or empty the dishwasher. Things that you take for granted are frustrating. Hope you are back to normal soon.
Thanks for all the decorating parties. It will take me time to read them all. You have tons of suggestions. Good luck with your walking boot.
Praying for good news on Friday and that you’ll be that much closer to walking free of any cast or boot! Hang in there! 😉
I know you can’t wait till Friday ! Take care and God bless
Keeping my fingers very firmly crossed for you and sending lots of hugs from France xx
Prayers for your healing!
UFFDA! I know how you feel…. hope you’re soon up and around! Look at all the good stuff! It’s gonna take me hours to go through them all! Iced tea now….. wine a little later. 😉
Thanks so much for hosting!!
Take care and thanks for hosting!!
Wow, I know walking on you own will be so great. God Bless You for a great recovery.
Thanks for the Scoop!
I think being bed-bound is the worst when you’re a home decorator. You just sit there looking around your home at all the things you want to get done, and you can’t do any of it. Good luck! And thanks for hosting a great party.
Lovely party! And good news about your ankle!
I’ve got my fingers crossed that all goes well Friday!
God bless, hope all goes well….
Thanks for the links! Have you had time in bed to write out some great lists? 😉
Love the party
Hope your ankle continues to stay strong
I can imagine how difficult it must be for an able bodied person to be “laid up” and in a wheelchair.
I have used a power chair for 14 yrs now and it isn’t bad at all. I just zip around the house getting all sorts
of tasks done.
Hang in there: It will be over soon.
Tamara
Hi Yvonne, Glad you’re seeing the “light at the end of the tunnel” with your broken leg!
I LOVE the square metal canisters on your counter. Where did you find them?
Blessings!
Thank you for continue blogging and hosting even while you heal
It is so hard to be laid up. Heal quickly! Thank you for the link up. She much to explore.
Hope you get better soon. Lots of good post here, great ideas.
Goodness there are lots of posts this week on The Scoop. More ideas!
