THE SCOOP 204

THE SCOOP #204. Hundreds of home and garden post all in one place to inspire and help you create a beautiful home!Happy New Year and welcome back to THE SCOOP! I hope you all had a marvelous Christmas and are having a very good start to your new year. Christmas day was so warm here at StoneGable that we had our air conditioner on! For some of you that might be routine, but here in bucolic Lancaster Co. it was a first! I hope you have made some great resolutions or goal for this coming year. I sure have and will be sharing them soon! I’m de-decorating and just put up the WINTER YARN BALL WREATH on my front door.
This wreath offers a big, warm fuzzy winter welcome to all who come come to visit! I hope you will give it a try. Even if you are not crafty, you can make this wreath!

I thinks it’s sorta hard to decorate after Christmas! Our homes tend to look empty to many of us after all the Christmas decor is down! I’ve found that pinecones make a seamless transition after the holidays. You might want to check out my EARLY WINTER VIGNETTE filled with pinecones and the sparkle of mercury glass for some decorating ideas!

Hi everyone and welcome to the first edition of The Scoop for 2016! We are so excited to have you join us for the new year and we are looking forward to all the fun and inspiration that you, our guests, bring to the party each week!

♪ ♫ Do you want to build a snowman? ♫ ♪ Here at the Plate Addicts, we closed down the year with this easy  SNOWMAN TABLESCAPE for the little grands. It was so much fun that it will be a new holiday tradition for us! And…best of all, it can be tweaked and used all winter long! You can see how I did it HERE.

And if you are like me, it’s time to put away all the holiday decorations and start the year fresh by cleaning and organizing the house! I am sharing some EASY IDEAS FOR STYLISH STORAGE because, after all, storage can be both practical and pretty!

It’s always hard to choose the features with so many wonderful links, but here are a few things that caught my eye last week!

I love this idea from Brianna at bargainbrianna…HOMEMADE SHOWER SOOTHERS…perfect with cold and flu season just around the corner!

Ashley at Simply Designing shared how she made this lovely RUSTIC SERVING TRAY WITH GOLD ARROW ACCENT…so pretty!

You’ve gotta love this IKEA DRESSER HACK with a built-in scarf organizer from Karianne at Thistlewood Farms!

Pretty gift wrap is not just for the holidays! These GOLD AND GLITTER FEATHER GIFT TOPPERS were created by Colleen at Lemon Thistle.

And if you love Nutella as much as I do, just imagine it with this yummy-looking NUTELLA HOT CHOCOLATE from Erin at DelightfulEMade!

And now…I can’t wait to see what you have to share, so let’s get on with the party!
