TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS FREE CHALKBOARD PRINTABLE

TEACH US TO PRAY FREE CHALKBOARD PRINTABLE

One goal I have set for myself this year is to memorize one bible verse a week.I thought that memorizing Psalm 90:12 was a wonderful way to start the year. I have created a chalkboard printable that is suitable for up to a 5 x 7  copy. I’m putting my copy in a frame on my desk. I’m also making copies for the bathroom mirror, the car and the kitchen! I thought this verse was a great way to remember to make each day count!

I want to remember that my days are finite and that each day I should be growing in wisdom. So I can present myself to the Lord as a mature disciple of Jesus, full of His wisdom and not full of the world’s foolishness or evil. And the best way to do that is to be in God’s word every day!

How about you? Why don’t you “hide God’s word in your heart” (Ps. 119:11) and memorize some new bible verses this year!

I added the Greek transliterated meaning of the key words in this verse to the printable so you and I can understand more fully its intended meaning.

If you would like to print the free chalkboard printable of Psalm 90:12 I made go Here.

  12. oh, lovely yvonne! this is such an honorable mission you are on to memorize scripture in 2016, and i salute you. i have quite an impairment in this area, and i’m told it is not unusual for folks (even intelligent folks) to struggle to memorize passages. i am horrible at remembering even the addresses of the verses! but i do hide the Word in my heart and i treasure it. i meditate upon it. i drink it. i swim in it. and i allow it to breathe in me as life. my verse for the year is psalm 46:10 as stillness and silence have added more richness and rest than i can say to my days for many years. i wish you light and love in 2016.
