Iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, aged cheddar cheese, black olives, bacon, homemade bleu cheese dressing and crispy croutons. What could be better?
This salad delivers big, pleasing bites of flavor… and will not leave you hungry!
Perfect for a summer meal… especially on-the-go!
Wedge salad that was so popular 50 or 60 years ago is getting quite a fan following today! Back in the day, a thin wedge of iceburg lettuce was served on a small salad plate with a good dousing of bleu cheese dressing…and maybe a sprinkling of bacon and tomatoes and cheese.
So, it’s time to give this American classic a facelift and make it portable too! I think putting really good food in a jar makes it taste great…
Let’s build it from the bottom up…
