ON THE MENU WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 17

ON THE MENU WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 17TH- I have a week's worth of scrumptious dinner recipes for you. I plan it and you make it!

The menu here at StoneGable has taken on a decidedly autumnal flavor! Yes, we have turned the corner from summer to fall (except for the garden tomatoes that are still wildly producing). It’s time for roasts and oven meals and fall veggies! Fall is the time for “cozy” cooking. You know, the kind of recipes that make your whole home smell delicious! Here’s what’s on the menu this almost fall week!

Today on our podcast Decorating Tips And Tricks WE’VE BEEN FLOORED! We are sharing with you our favorite and some pretty amazing flooring options to consider.

I’ve been in love with white floors for about 2 years now, but sadly I don’t see them in my future! Listen to the full story below:

Now, let’s get cooking something scrumptious!

SUNDAY

Doesn’t this recipe look amazing! Oh, YUM! Cafe Delites is quickly becoming my go to resource for new recipes! Make sure to check Karina’s yummy blog out!

MONDAY

Oh, yes! Hamburgers!!!! I love them! A great hamburger just might be my favorite meal. Really! These hamburgers make me want to lick the screen!

TUESDAY

I think if you make one thing this week Perfect Roast Chicken must be it! I make at least two every other week. We eat it for dinners and lunches and I use the carcass for stock. Very economical and so much more delicious than the store-bought kind! And your home will smell amazing!

WEDNESDAY

Gorgeous fish recipe from Cooking Classy! This is a new-to-me foodie blog and oh my I could peruse it for hours. I love salmon and it sounds even better slathered with butter and lemon! Oh, YUM!

THURSDAY

I make pot roast a lot!!!! It’s easy and so scrumptious and the leftovers make great sandwiches or warmed up lunches. My recipe was passed down from my mother and grandmother and is very similar to Ree Drummond, The Pioneer Woman! To see my heritage recipe click HERE.

Always use a chuck roast when making a pot roast! It’s the best!

Love the video! See, so simple!

FRIDAY

My Bobby loves Chicken Cacciatore! So we are having date night and I’m making his favorite dish! Chicken cacciatore and movies are the things of great date nights! So we’ll snuggle down and watch a good one together! Our favorite date nights are right at home! Being together is the BEST!

SATURDAY

Our fire pit gets lots of use. Tonight we are having an old fashioned weenie roast. S’mores included! How F-U-N!

THIS WEEK’S SWEET TREAT

GINGERSNAP COOKIES

These are so delicious! Eat them as soon as they cool! They are so so good dunked in milk or coffee!

Hope you have a scrumptious week!
