On The Menu April 25th

In this post: On The Menu, April 25th has 31 scrumptious recipes and a week's worth of delicious dinner menus. Seasonal recipes that are big on flavor and easy to make.
SPRING PLACE SETTING

This week’s menu can be characterized by one word, varied! There is something for everyone! Although it’s spring, it has been rather chilly here. So this week is a mix of warm soups and delicious grilling! No matter what you make from this menu it’s going to be delicious!

Here’s what’s on the menu for April 25th…

MONDAY

Tonight we are having brunch for dinner. Bobby and I love breakfast and brunch foods so every once in a while we eat breakfast for dinner! On the menu tonight is a delicious crustless chicken and spinach quiche from SKINNY KITCHEN!

TUESDAY

Oh, yum! Bobby and I will really love this healthy stovetop Lasagne! Made healthy by bulking it up with more veggies! This recipe is from Slender Kitchen.

WEDNESDAY

One of my favorite foodie blogs is Cafe Delites! I’ve made many of Karina’s recipes and they are all fabulous! Tonight’s chicken dish is one of my favorites!

It’s easy to make and company worthy.

THURSDAY

I grew up eating salmon cakes. And I love them. I’ve made them using fresh baked salmon and canned salmon. There is nothing like fresh salmon but red salmon from a can is pretty good in salmon cakes too.

These salmon cakes are not my mama’s salmon cakes! Mom’s were delicious but these are infused with onions and peppers and parsley and lots of delicious flavors! And they are air fried!

These cakes are so worth a try. If you don’t have an Air Fryer, make sure to invest in one but until then these salmon cakes can be baked in a 350-degree oven for 30 minutes or cooked with a little oil in a pan.

FRIDAY

This weekend starts our grilling season here at StoneGable. So we will be grilling some of our favorite meats and other foods this weekend!

We are starting off with a delicious flank steak from A WICKED WISK! Great, easy, and informative instructions! We will be grilling a flank steak instead of broiling it. YUM!

SATURDAY- FAMILY DINNER

My very favorite grilled food is a hamburger! Thick and juicy with all the fixins pilled on high! I’m sharing MY recipe for a fabulous juicy hamburger today!

SUNDAY- COMPANY DINNER- SOUP DINNER

I’m having one of my best friends over for dinner. I LOVE spending time with Donna! We have been friends for decades. We know each other so well. Everyone should have a Donna in their life.

I love cooking for her!

We love soup so I’m making a hearty soup and topping each bowl off with large squares of puff pastry.

Tonight’s scrumptious soup comes from Natasha at Salt And Lavender.

She gave up sweets for Lent so I’m making homemade ice cream! It’s her favorite!

TREAT OF THE WEEK

These TWO INGREDIENT BROWNIES are perfect! I’m planning on making a pan and cutting them into servings and freezing them to pull out when I have the points left in my day and want a sweet treat! Thanks, MIDGET MOMMA!
