I think if I were not a teacher or a decorator I would have gone to culinary school. I love food and the technique it takes to coax every bit of flavor out of something that grows in the ground or comes from animals. I love to feed people and have lots of those I love around my table. Food is so much more than just eating, it is a way of life! Here’s what’s on the menu this week…
SUNDAY
I love Sunday dinners! And I love a recipe that has components I can make ahead. Today’s recipe from Cafe’ Delites is a great example! I’ll make the spinach artichoke stuffing ahead and it will be a breeze to put together for dinner on Sunday!

Yvonne – I adore your blog! One of my favorites are “On the Menu”. I have gotten and tried so many good recipes and most of all you find the best websites. They are such a good resource and I love adding them to my favorites.
Many, many thanks
Pamela
I’ve saved three of the recipes to try. Yummo!!!!

It sounds good, but did you skip Tuesday? I guess you are eating out that night, LOL?
I get so many wonderful recipes from you! My family will love the bang bang shrimp! Thank you!
White Wine Chicken Stew is on my menu for this cold January. I made Italian wedding soup this past week for the grandchildren who had another snow day here in Ohio.
Now I know why I enjoy your blog so much … we share the same interests! I have been a K teacher for 25 years …and enjoy decorating my home and sharing it with others … hospitality is a joy for me too … especially if I have a theme!
Thank you for sharing your passions and ideas … and for sharing your love for Jesus!!
Thanks for the recipes. Those cookies look delicious.
We are spending our evenings working on our new house. I think the sausage and peppers will be a great idea. I can keep them warm in the crock pot. Potato chips for dinner are A+ in my book!
Hi Pia, congratulations on your new home!!!! I love potato chips and can’t keep them in the house because they scream at me! So once in a while is a real treat!
Oh my such a wonderful menu week…Thank you
Chocolate Filled Shortbread Cookies oh yum!
Spinach, artichoke stuffed chicken! That’s like stuffing chicken with my favourite hot dip. But, at 606 cal a serving for the chicken alone…..well….I’ll need to save that until I lose my Christmas weight. 😉
Do you think the sausage, onion and peppers would be good alone?
Yes! But remember you don’t have to eat a whole chicken breast. I’ll be eating a half.
The food looks scrumptious and yes!!! I am picking up what you are putting down about the EAGLES!!! 😁🤩
They WON!!!!! E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLESSSSSSS!
Everything looks yummy.I make sausage, peppers and onions all the time, we love Italian food !
Hi Yvonne, these dishes look delicious. The stuffed chicken made my eyes bulge.
You gave me our menu for the week–well, let’s say I’ll try for most of it! But it looks and sounds scrumptious! Thank you for sharing these dishes–and the cookie recipe!
Just Yum!!!!!!!
