ON THE MENU WEEK OF AUGUST 6TH

On the menu this week are some of our family favorites! And lots of grilling! When our menu is planned out and filled with delicious seasonal foods we not only love to eat but to cook as well. What I can’t get from the garden I can usually pick up at local farmstands. Super fresh and oh, so good! Here’s what’s on the menu this week…

Wow! Today’s episode of Decorating Tips And Tricks is full of great tips and lots of ideas to DECORATE FOR UNDER $100.00!

Here’s this week’s menu…

MONDAY

My darling Bobby this is for you! Bobby LOVES mushrooms and he will really love this fungus laden dish!

TUESDAY

Another fish dish? Yes, we love fish and try to eat salmon at least once a week! This recipe is sooo easy!

WEDNESDAY

Another of Bobby’s favorites! He will eat it with spaghetti and I’ll eat it just how it comes out of the pan!

THURSDAY

We have a lots of ground venison in the freezer so I’m putting it into an Italian pie.

FRIDAY- SOUP DAY

Even when the temperatures soar I still love soup! Crab and cream and wild rice… what could be better!

SATURDAY

Company’s coming this weekend and they will love this dinner. I serve the chicken to my family a few weeks ago and got all thumbs up! So it’s been tested and is company worthy!

SUNDAY

Grilling makes dinner easy! And our company will love flank steak on the grill as much as we do! YUM!

TREAT OF THE WEEK

Oh, yea! Now this IS a treat! Our peaches are done but there are still lots of delicious local peaches to be had at almost every farmstand! So we are eating our fill while we can get them almost right off the tree!

  1. This menu looks really good. I am going to try a couple of your recipes this week. I want to try the Baked Salmon but am having trouble getting anything to come up when I hit your link. Can you help with this? Thanks!

    Good morning Yvonne,

The peach fritters sound delicious. Can you make these ahead of time to take to a picnic or will the be soggy?

    Have a blessed day, Peggy

  4. Hi Yvonne,
I love the menu posts. This weekend I made the panko and dill encrusted salmon and the fruit berry jar for dessert. These were from last week. Bother were yummy! I will make again.
    Thanks
