    Yvonne~ Love, love, love…

I know the smells wafting from your kitchen are as delicious as your beautiful details! I adore your cabinet doors and a SERIOUS case of sink envy :)

Hi Yvonne, I love your kitchen!! I miss the white kitchens I had in my last two houses — one I did myself and the other was already there (after going through a kitchen renovation it is hard to start another). This house has a dark kitchen from 1987. Maybe someday! I also love those glass canisters. Tell us how you like the soapstone counters! And thank you for sharing this charming and welcoming room. Linda, I LOVE my soapstone counters! They are nonporous and do not stain. They are inert… so you can put hot things on them. I just put a little mineral oil on them about once a month… that’s it!
The downside is that that are a bit pricey, but they certainly are worth every penny.

Your kitchen is gorgeous. No wonder it was featured. I just want to transplant into my house. :) I love the white cabinets with the dark counters and hardware. Sigh.
