ON THE MENU WEEK OF JAN 20TH
My love of good food and interest in cooking was inspired by my Nani. There was always something so scrumptious cooking in a big pot on her stove. I loved to watch her cut vegetable in perfect little pieces and fuss over the ingredients in a dish. She was a seasonal cooker who cooked from her Hungarian roots. Nani, even today I am inspired by your wonderful home cooking and the love you put into it! Here’s what’s on the menu this week…
Let’s eat!
SUNDAY
Here at StoneGable, we love a great fish dish. And this salmon recipe is a winner!
- PAN SEARED SALMON WITH CREAMY LEMON DILL SAUCE
- ROASTED POTATOES, CARROTS, AND PARSNIPS
MONDAY
My Bobby is a big fan of pasta. I bet he is going to love this main dish! And it will feed a crowd. What do you do with leftovers? We freeze them for another meal or eat them for lunches. YUM!
TUESDAY- SOUP DAY- SLOW COOKER SOUP
This soup hits my sweet spot! LOVE chowders and love this ham recipe.

This is the perfect dinner for me! We eat Nani’s Sauteed Chicken often and never get tired of it!
- NANI’S SAUTEED CHICKEN
- CARROTS
- MASHED POTATOES
THURSDAY
GORGEOUS! And delicious. Just a little reminder… you get what you pay for when it comes to meat. Because I can freeze the remainder of the rost for upcoming meals this recipe is pretty economical!

- LEFTOVER MASHED POTATOES FROM WEDNESDAY’S MENU
- ROASTED GREEN BEANS WITH BACON
FRIDAY
What a pretty main dish! And a healthy one too.
- HEALTHY BAKED PARMESAN SPINACH ROLL UPS
- GREEK SALAD
SATURDAY
This tamale recipe will satisfy my Tex-Mex addiction!
