FRENCH VINTAGE DECOR… A MUST READ!

If you need a little vacation to France… raise your hand! I see all of you, like me with hands raised and ready for an adventure. Actually, we can do that without even leaving our home! Today I’m sharing a beautiful new book with you French Vintage Decor that will whisk all of us on a whirlwind tour of France and we can bring home a bit of the brocantes through the French inspired DIY’s in the book…

I have the awesome privilege of, once in awhile, reviewing a book for a blogging friend. I always find that books written by bloggers far exceed my expectations! And the new book by Jamie Lundstrom, FRENCH VINTAGE DECOR, is one book that is a must read! Gorgeous and every page is filled with beautiful ideas and inspirations and ooh la la ideas!

Jamie is the creative force behind her beautiful blog So Much Better With Age

And she has spun her French inspired charm and elegant viewpoint into the most luscious decor book! Here’s how this delightful book came to me. Sandwiched between a French tea towel and lavender and other wonderful products she chose to help me create one of her 70 French vintage projects.

Jamie’s book is a trip through France with stunning images of the French countryside and her oh, so French life at home. An easy read that will keep you captivated from the front cover to the back of the book!

Her reminiscing of her trips to France and the sepia washed memories in picture form makes this book a little getaway to France itself!

And you can bring a little of her gorgeous French rustic charm to your home too through her artful DIY’s!

One French Vintage Decor DIY that I am excited to make is this lovely topiary. I think I’ll make a pair for my dining room. Jamie’s instructions and supply list are thorough and so easy! And did I mention how beautiful her images are? Oh, I think I did! But they are certainly worth mentioning again and again!

From a Deconstructed Burlap Footstools to a large Baguette Tray all these Vintage French DIY’s are doable and will add beauty to any home!

I’m enthralled by this Baguette Tray! And it’s another must-make!

Other DIY’s include…

  • french gold mirror
  • gray washed frames
  • flower garland
  • champagne bucket centerpiece
  • white and gold vanity
  • zinc french bistro set
  • wicker basket bag
  • pillow shams from antique french napkins
  • and much more!

Our author has created a book for your home decor library that you will go to again and again for inspiration and DIY ideas!

You can pre-order French Vintage Decor which will debut on June 12th HERE

Thanks for creating this stunning book, Jamie! Your personality and love of all thing French shines! Congratulation on your most charming book!

  12. Oooh….love this! Can’t wait to check out this book! I have created a French/Paris theme in our guest bath….shower curtain that looks like a Paris street, Paris art on the walls, an Eiffel Tower soap pump, etc. A new At Home opened near us and I was able to find a storage unit that had cloth baskets with that tan french fabric with french phrases on it….it is the perfect storage. Now when my husband wants to know if we have something ( floss, toothpaste, etc. ) my response is “Did you look in Paris ? !”
