FALL TABLE FOR TWO

1 FALL TABLE FOR TWO- Set a pretty table for fall. Lots of ideas!

I love to be outside during the fall… even more than summer! Fall weather here is usually stunning. Crisp and no humidity and there are days that are so perfect you have to pinch yourself to make sure they are real! The scenery begins to change and become saturated with the most gorgeous autumnal colors! Now is the time to get outside. So I’m heading to the little table on the porch and setting it for an easy, intimate dinner for two full of early fall charm!

Maples are the first trees to “turn” and if you look very, very carefully at our red maples you can see a couple of leaves already turning a beautiful autumn color. The tops of our trees have many more colorful leaves!

I love black and white with fall colors… so dramatic!

A small stack of dishes and a pretty leaf bowl are arranged at each place setting. The detailed edges and shapes of the dishes add lots of interest to the table!

Napkins were “fluffed” in coffee mugs and amber goblets wait for cider!

Just for fun, I tucked a few faux fall leaves along with the napkins into the mugs!

These willow placemats are new to StoneGable this fall. I love their twiggy texture! Simple white handled forks and knives work well with today’s meal!

The centerpiece is a vintage chamber pot I got on a recent shopping trip.  I know what they were used for, but I just love their shape!

The chamber pot turned planter has 2 small mums and a tiny flowering cabbage tucked into it! I added a white pumpkin, some pinecones, a seed pod and a few sprigs of fall leaves.

The pumpkin is faux. It was once orange and I painted it white and added a real stem. To see how easy it is to upcycle your orange pumpkins click HERE.

Bobby and I are going to have a little dinner on the porch. We will listen to some great music and have a few laughs and talk about our day and probably our babies (grand’s of course)! This is how we build fall memories!

Your Fall table is gorgeous as your table settings always are. Makes me miss having a table/dining area so much more this time of year. Our house in KY had a wonderful dining area but none in this house.I miss our KY house all the time.
The Fall was gorgeous in KY, cooler with very low humidity. Out where we lived in country was so gorgeous with the trees and all, such color. I enjoyed Fall so much more than other seasons. My allergies, asthma and arthritis were pretty pesty in most seasons. 100 degrees with 100% humidity in Summer were torture for this western girl. Even the natives complained of the heat/humidity.
The price of real estate was so much more reasonable than here in western CO also. That’s why we had to buy a place with no dining area on SS. At the time our oldest son bought the place and completely redid in and outside of house, built a big front porch, boy do I miss that front porch. We had 1 1/2 acres, old trees, he built us a garage also. Ah well, that’s life. My health is much better here in western CO and our two youngest kids live close by.
    Have wonderful rest of week
