If I can make these delicious goodies, anyone can. So easy and so fabulous! Adapted from a recipe I came across in a magazine, they use ready made breadstick dough and ingredients most of us have on hand. Make sure you take one first, they will go FAST!
Breadsticks dough (I used Pillsbury- in the refrigerated section at grocer’s)
4 TBS butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1TBS instant vanilla pudding powder
1/2 cup powered sugar
1/2 TBS milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter. Grease muffins cups with butter. Mix sugar, cinnamon and vanilla pudding powder in a small bowl.
Open dough and turn on to a lightly floured surface.
Unroll dough and separate into individual breadsticks.
Lightly flatten out each breadstick. Butter breadstick with a pastry brush.
Top butter generously with sugar mixture and roll up.
Place each cinnamon roll-up in a muffin cup. Butter each muffin again and sprinkle with sugar mixture.
Bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
Remove buns to a wire rack to cool.
Make glaze. Mix powdered sugar and milk together. It should not be too runny. Add more powdered sugar if needed. When cinnamon buns are cooled drizzle with glaze.
Plate (remember, keep one for yourself!) and Enjoy!
