I love this easy fall decorating diy idea! If you like zero dollar decorating than you will love these cute twine wrapped vases too! These are so so easy to make and they look so pretty arranged with fall flower! Make them your go-to fall decor this season!

I was recently at a country-style wedding and the vases on the table were darling twine wrapped cylinders. They were adorable.

Grouped in odd numbers and in different heights these arrangements worked perfectly with a country setting and fall season!

WHAT IS THIS FALL DECORATING DIY IDEA?


When I looked closer I found the containers were cans!!!! You know, the kind that food comes in. How clever!

So I used this idea and made a few of my own. You will love having a cluster of these on your table this fall!

Let’s make Easy Fall Twine Wrapped Vases!

 Each container took less than 10 minutes to make! So save your cans and let’s get busy!

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED

  •  cans
  • twine
  • glue  (either tacky or hot glue)

  1. Materials
  2. Glue the twine tightly around the can from the bottom to the top.
  3. Ta Da! That’s it!

Isn’t that so so easy?

I used these clever twine wrapped vases down the center of my kitchen table filled with the remains of my garden. And I also added some little pumpkins and book page leaves. 

I love these darling twine wrapped vases because they will work with my decor from now through Thanksgiving!

MORE IDEAS

These twine wrapped vases are just perfect to make as a little gift for a friend! Make several and fill them with fall blooms and brighten up a few friends day!!!

Now that we are social distancing it’s important to do something nice of someone else!

Don’t forget to give them with a cute little pumpkin too!

I’m making these now for our Thanksgiving table! How pretty they will look mixed with votives down the center of our table!

Here are some other ways to embellish these vases…

  • spray paint them white ( I love this idea!)
  • add a bit of trim around the top and bottom of the vase
  • tie a TWINE TASSEL around the container
  • wrap the can with yarn to work with your decor

The next time you open a can of something, wash and dry it and save it to make these textural fall inspired vases!

  3. I made something similar for a bridal shower and they turned out so cute! Using them again for Thanksgiving is perfect!

  4. I made the twine wrapped can yesterday- 15 min. tops and that included looking for scissor.
    The next one I do I am going to paint the rims at top and bottom with copper paint. I think that will blend nicely with fall foliage.
    Great project and one that would be very fun and safe for kids to do. If you take the kiddos for a leaf walk , they could display the nice variety they find in this sweet little container.
