Adding throws is a great way to make a room feel welcoming in the winter. Let’s pile them 0n and dive into them!!!
MAKE A READING NOOK
Make any chair in a cozy spot a reading nook. Keep a stack of books and magazines at hand to enjoy on a cold afternoon. Don’t forget the hot chocolate or your favorite hot drink on hand!
ADD EXTRA LAYERS TO YOUR BEDDING
A throw will add a soft layered look to your bed! How pretty!
TURN DOWN THE LIGHT AND LIGHT LOTS OF CANDLES AND LANTERNS
The nights are still long so take this opportunity to keep your lights low and light lots and lots of candles. Enjoy the beautiful glow of candlelight!

Put together a new winter vignette. Pull out winter elements and put them all together in a pretty tray or basket. Or how about putting them on a mirror to add a little sparkle to a room?
No matter how cold it is outside, add one organic thing to each room. I’m thinking some kind of a green plant or herb this year. Don’t you love this little basil tree? It’s just the thing to add a living element to my kitchen.
