Fairly new to your site—and I love the farmhouse style especially your kitchen—love traditional—not so much into the black and white—live in Florida with lots of sunshine and water—no cornfields out my windows—but each to their own. Found several suggestions you made enlightening (as clearing a lot of stuff off kitchen counters) There are some of us (sorry) with house, hubbies and kids who will NEVER be clutter free—sigh. But will try to stay motivated.

I have recently “fallen into” a group of Christian lady bloggers (loved your posts at Christmas) who are upbeat and positive—not to mention informative and crafty—and I feel extremely blessed. Thanks for taking your time and energy to share ideas, thoughts, and inspiration with us.

    1. Hi Jan…I also live in Florida, on the water. So I don’t have a farmhouse style but friends here do and I have in the past. You’re going to love these Christian lady bloggers…I certainly have.

    2. Please share who these Christian bloggers are.

  29. I’ve been reading you daily for about six months. Love the vignettes you show and the colors you put together. Just remember that many of your readers do not have a website but just take your expertise and put it to our own use. We need easy and inexpensive crafts and DIYs for the most part.

Thank you so much for all you do.

  30. Alice Roberts says:

I think your approach works well as it is. Not too much on anything and just enough variety to be different and interesting and sometimes it is surprising at the same time. So, it is definitely not in need or repair or renovations. Your blog is the first one I have felt inclined to subscribe to and at my age, 72 I am still interested so far, in substance and creativity which I see on your blog. I try to find time to be as creative with the things I enjoy and I like to make “something” out of “nothing” whether it is painting a mural in a grandson’s room at his house or one at my house, I give it my all. I have always enjoyed making things like both of my parents. I learned embroidering, crocheting, sewing, cooking, and other skills including piano as a child and never quit taking lessons as an adult, such as ceramics from pouring slip into
molds, cleaning, firing and finishing either in glazes or stains, then moved on decorative painting, cake decorating, and many others crafts and the latest jewelry making even in my 60’s to the present. You’re amazing, so keep on growing! You are a work in progress and God is not “finished” with you yet! Love the look of you site. Very elegant!

  31. I so enjoy reading your blog, I feel like were friends and sisters in Christ.I try and read your blog every day, some days it works out and some it does not, but then I play catch up. I so enjoy reading your blog in the morning with my coffee.
    Have a blessed Day

  35. Hi, Yvonne,
I completed the survey, but forgot to say that I wish you had an archive list on your sidebar so I could review what you posted over the past few years. That is one tool I use on several sites to catch up on my reading when I’ve not been able to read blogs daily. StoneGable is such a wonderful blog, and you come up with great new ideas. I’ve been enjoying your Practically Speaking series.
