START SAVING ONION SKINS

Every year I make ONION SKIN EGGS. I’ve made them as long as I can remember. It’s part of my Hungarian roots. It’s just a part of getting ready for Easter at StoneGable!

To make them you need the outer skin jackets from about 5- 10 pounds of onions.

Now is the time to start saving those papery onion skins and dye your Easter eggs with them! They are so so pretty!

So when it’s time to color eggs you will be ready to dye them! GO HERE to see how easy it is to dye onion skin eggs!

This post was done early on in my blogging career. The images were taken with a point and shoot camera, so they are not the best but the tutorial is great!

If you like the idea of naturally dyed eggs how about these eggs…

Creating a kitchen herb garden in a basket is so so easy and will give us a head start on planting herbs outside! It has become part of Easter decor for years.

I made kitchen herb gardens and gave them as Easter baskets!
