I actually would love to make that flag pillow. So cute! Love the ‘white croquet’ party. 🙂 I’m thinking we will be taking my grandson to the huge firework display at the local military base. There is a public park behind the base, and it’s the perfect place to sit out and have dinner, etc. 🙂 (Wish the June bugs didn’t get invited, but they always are… what’s up with that?)

Have a great fourth, Yvonne! Thanks for the post.

  42. I love all the ideas you’ve shared here for celebrating the 4th of July, Yvonne! Cool that you had a white croquet day!!! Very English and I bet it was totally fun! Since moving to Texas, I have been in two parades with the Odd Fellows here in Denton and I am really happy to be there and see all the people. Our kids participated with Scout troops and school band in our local Christmas parade in Temecula when we were in California, but it’s nice to be able to be there myself.

    Happy summer,
    Barb 🙂

For the 4th of July I buy a bunch of gourds and cut a hole in the front and small hole on the bottom; then grab one and decorate it in red, white, and blue. I use a cup hook in the top for a hanger. We love our bird house and the fun together making them. Have a safe and happy Independence Day Yvonne!

    1. Cecilia, I love to grow gourds and they can make the best birdhouses! How fun!
